Re: Back when $#!+ was real....
That’s about all I would watch on TV when I was a kid is stadium trucks/dirt bikes/and monster trucks. That’s only if I wasn’t in the woods on the trails pretending my bicycle was a dirt bike.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
and I get pulled over for having a ladder sticking out the back of my explorer by 3.5 feet without a red flag  Started with one on but it musta came untied and lost it. I'm guessing awning? Todd Correct. I finally have my building I’ve been working on getting for years. An awning provides tha...

RC10GT (holeshot chassis build)
Starting with a low mileage put away wet black parts GT and a very clean Holeshot chassis, thanks Phin. Not going to get too crazy. Just going to put some hop-ups I already have into the build as I clean and freshen up the parts as they get swapped over. Here’s what I’m working with. 15128347-4F33-4...

Re: RC10GT (holeshot chassis build)
haven’t decided if I should convert this build to diesel, or use a more flashy big head engine. Leaning toward saving the diesel for a more simple build.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I think a few companies would offer bodies in white abs or lexan back in the 70’s. I have an abs Dynamic Mclaren body on my suspension car. Pretty sure I had the box for it but I think I shipped off another vintage body in it.

Re: RC10GT (holeshot chassis build)
I decided to buy a few parts so I’m waiting on them to start assembling clean parts so I’m slacking on cleaning anything. Just kind of categorizing what I want to use. So far this is what ready to assemble. Looks like I need to drill and countersink a couple holes in the chassis to utilize all the h...

Re: RC10GT (holeshot chassis build)
Made some progress today. Can’t say I would recommend the eBay titanium screw kit for the GT. Somehow it feels like the screws are just not quite full 4-40. The 8-32 seemed fine, possibly just wore out nylon parts though. And my allen didn’t like to fit into the socket consistently for the small cou...

Re: RC10GT (holeshot chassis build)
Couple steps closer to a complete truck. Need to track down a good condition tank or even just a good condition lid, rear body mount, and I’ll fab up a front bumper from some scraps.

Re: Car #6 SC10 Street Outlaw Pro Mod conversion
These things look like a blast, even just sitting stationary they look cool. All I need now is another Expensive part of the hobby to distract me from my other expensive endeavors.

Re: RC10GT (holeshot chassis build)
I figured I’m building something I normally wouldn’t build with this chassis, I might as well do something I wouldn’t normally do with The body. Just need to trim a little on the rear tower and pop some holes in it. That’s for tomorrow though.

Re: RC10GT (holeshot chassis build)
Shaved the rear tower so the body could sit down just a hair in the rear. Had to lean the top of the front shocks in. But it fits well enough for a shelf queen. I know I’m not supposed to like the modern stuff. But I do like the low slung stealth look this body gives the truck. B349C04F-0A87-4B34-9B...
