Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
The two bodies are useable on the narrow early rear tower. But the original body will not clear the later wide rear tower.

If you got the two under the headlights, probably just extras to fill up extra space on the sheet.

Cliff Lett.
On the side of the box it said they were the ones responsible for designing and testing the GT. I thought it would be fitting to get all three.

The Andy’s body I posted in your thread has never been mounted, I bought it pretty recently. The autographed body is on my box art truck.

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
There’s tons of minor little things you’ll discover trying to make a perfect replica. The old truck wings are molded slightly different than the new Jconcepts wing. The modern wing has that more modern kick at the top. And I’m not sure the sides are molded the same or not. I’ll do some digging and s...

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
As RC10th has shown. The old wing is molded different than the new wing. It wouldn’t be hard to fold the sides in on the new wing. But the rolled sides were just trimmed from the way it was molded on the old wing. To my memory and knowledge, the old GTs came with the wing in the kit. They were just ...

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
If you want an exact replica, you need the old one.
You may be able to fold the jconcepts to look like Boxart. But the old one just needs to be trimmed.

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Tub and Plastics - #7065
I understand now, neither the JConcepts, or # 7185 are like the boxart. There's no other way to obtain that old boxart spoiler in 2024, The #7185 spoiler is the same as what came with the kit. that is the spoiler on the box. Just trim it to shape of the box art body is all that’s needed. The #7185 ...

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood
Is this the Team Blue Groove 1963 Corvette, you have? https://teambluegroove.com/products/vintage-1963-corvette-body-touring-1-10-trans-am-series-xray-corally-losi From those images that looks like a touring car body. The original was a wide pan car body. Parma I believe. I’m a big movie nerd, I de...

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood
Well that body looks pretty wide so it may work very well. With that painted Bolink body picture the biggest telltale that it’s not the movie car body is the sharp ridge down the roof line.
