Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build
Body is cut and fitted. The rear end is a very tight fit to the motor and spur. As soon as I can find my container with all my wings, everything can be prepped for paint and decals. Then it should just be a quick 10 year wait until I get it painted.

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE Racer build
I have been dragging my feet in getting this build done. Part of the reason has been the inability to find front TLR Gen 3 shocks. Every place has been out of stock for awhile. I guess all of the TLR resources are going into designing the 22 6.0. Fortunately I pieced everything together by usi...

MIP Legend rere
Eustace will be running the prototype for the continuation of the Legend this weekend. I'll update when I can. Notable differences- the front end is updated with a stronger carrier and hub design. Same front transmission but the slipper is now more like a single pad rulon style slipper and mounted t...

Custom Fabricated Train - Serious Machine work
This is a photo from left to right of Mr & Mrs Ed Sholl, and my Grandparents Bob & Mary Schenk. Ed and Bob were both career machinists. I took the photo in 1984 where I introduced my Grandparents to Ed and his wife. Ed originally started to build this train when raising his son. Unfortunatel...

Re: Jrx Pro of my youth
Looking really good. That motor plate looks to have a slight bend in it when looking from the rear. You should be able to bend it back straight pretty easily. I'll break out the dead blow hammer and persuade it back in line. Fresh off the mail truck, revision b. I think I like it. 2025033...

Even if it was real, I think I'd prefer it over the semi still.

Re: My graveyard of carcasses has arrived
So, a little progress; got the measles-looking pan bead blasted, epoxy primered, and painted with VHT Burnt Copper. Cleaned and dyed black all the purple plastics. Started reassembly, but I need to pick up some new hardware, and many other parts. Slow but steady progress. It will probably need to be...

Re: Jrx Pro of my youth
Approximated the original gear cover with the decals I had handy. 20250404_164114.jpg Mounted up. 20250404_165215.jpg Tires cleaned up and mounted. X-patterns and stagger ribs, my favorite. 20250404_170957.jpg And finally, the wing is done. I'll get some shots in the sun. Gotta do it for Dale. 20250...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Over the last few days I've been resurrecting a few old and worn parts. Filing, sanding and polishing, polishing, polishing... More hours than I care to admit. My Litesink is the same one I used when I raced my Houge RC10 in the 80's-90's. Never really been happy with the way the Litesink turned out...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I started a remodel on my Granddaughter's RC track. I picked up some scrap plastic gasline to replace the steel posts. They will be over soon to grab shovel's and start building jumps. I'm doing my part to inspire the next generation of RC enthusiasts
