1991 Detroit Losi prototype – tribute car.
In mid August I stumbled across a Youtube clip called “Losi´91 Detroit Conversion Kit – First Track Test Day” published by Grand Prix 3D. After watching the clip a couple of times I emailed Andrew at GP3D and placed a pre order for at kit. I still remember taking the bus to the magazine store every ...

Blasphemous B2.4 Racer
Some of the slightly more modern cars have definitely been fast on the vintage race circuit- the XX looked super smooth and I thought about building one...but I have way more AE and B2 parts....so here will be the start of the B2.4-

Re: Blasphemous B2.4 Racer
Looks like a nice buggy to start with 8) Yeah, I have my Swiss cheesed B2 from my teens, and the late one on the bottom I built in 2012 from SNIB when I was quitting smoking and the "Faux Pro" all carbon one on the top from around that same time...but none to race....until now. Scr8ps B2 ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I was too excited last night to take pics of the packages but I got a care package from teshreve . A pair of mystery CVDs, a complete 2.19:1 XX transmission, and a pair of wing tubes. Lets just say I've been wanting to do this since my first ProSE in the 90s. After some transplanting the XX guts int...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
big day for me. I've been looking for NOS XL2P for several years. For many years now I've been working on a copy of my exact RC10L setup from the late 80's using mostly new parts. This was the last piece to the puzzle.

Re: The dog thread
On Netflix. Not working Yeah, it crashed all over the place. I finally gave up. I heard it sucked anyway. Tyson had wind under his sails in the first two rounds. By the end of the 2nd round, he was gassed and it was basically nothing from there on. I think Paul could've pretty much teed-off on Tyso...

My first rc paintjob
Finally got around to painting the brand new body for my hornet show car. Spaz Stix candy apple red on the body and mirror chrome on the wing. It's not perfect, but for a first time I think it's pretty good.

A&L Custom Team Truck #4 of 5 or 6
Hi all...adding this here because there are others already posted in this section...Daryl Lane gave this truck to me, his last personal truck, a few weeks before he passed in 2021. As such, I can see his touches throughout and it took me some time to get to working on it. As it currently sits, there...

A&L Yokomo Prototype parts
Thanks to Daryl's son Adam, who sent me some awesome blueprints, I was able to recreate the arms (rears are 2°) and gearbox that Chris used for the 89 Reedy race. The parts were originally machined by Chris by hand, and Daryl later decided to draw them to see about production. Apparently that just n...

Re: 2025 21.5 Pre-Pro SE buggy
Just a little more. Mounted some fresh tires to break in, thanks to Teshreve I have 99% of the springs and extra shocks I was looking for (like to be able to just swap entire shock packages into the car during testing). Still have more to go
