Re: Have Good News - Please post it here
I had major emergency abdominal surgery 3 years ago, and when I woke after the operations (unconscious for the full first month), I discovered my ankles and feet were now paralyzed. At the time, we lived in a small house, and all my RC gear was in my workshop in the basement, where I now had no way ...

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Worlds build
^ Thanks TRX-1! I searched my stash and found these transmission braces. All of these are different. I decided to install this one that I believe I got from a member on here a couple of years ago. I believe he made it. I prefer the look of braces that are without the hole for the body post. Also, th...

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Worlds build
Big upgrade with these beautiful vintage Trinity shocks. I received them as shown below. I then added some gold shafts and alloy bottom spring retainers.

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Worlds build
^ Thanks MarkyDents! I made a few changes and added these vintage Reedy batteries. I also swapped the esc to the correct side and wired it up. I tried to get the wiring as clean as I could. I hate wires. The pink Reedy battery decals sort of clash with the red Composite Craft decals. I may change th...

Re: RC10 Composite Craft Worlds build
This Andy's body matches the one I have on my white CC RC10T. I decided to use this PSE wing I've had for awhile. Unfortunately the pink REEDY decal on the wing sort of disapears from the pink behind it. I was hoping that would work better.
I still need to work on the wire wing mounts.

Composite Craft RPM '91 Worlds build thread
The CC RPM Worlds was based on the '91 Worlds Stealth buggy that AE developed for the loamy Freedom Hill Park track in Detroit that was hosting the 1991 IFMAR Off-Road Worlds. RPM developed the '91 Worlds front end kit for AE team drivers that weren't running a Stealth buggy. It took roughly 18 mont...

Re: Composite Craft RPM '91 Worlds build thread
Well, it's tranny Tuesday. :D I have the parts sorted and will start opening everything up if my ocd can lay low for a while. I won't be using the Thorp Stealth slipper top shaft, but I will set it to the side in case I ever decide to swap out the Hydra. It appears that particular 3101 Hydra kit is ...

Re: Composite Craft RPM '91 Worlds build thread
Today I was able to replace the front 8-32 bellcrank screws with shorter 5/8" aluminum screws. I know I could have taken a cutoff wheel to the existing ones, but I actually needed them for another upcoming build. I finished applying the decals, put the RPM translucent Hydra gear cover on, and s...

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
The best part is I don't have to paint the body
I feel bad for the guy who did all of the work to stage this photo, only to have the damned rear spring roll out of place before snapping the shot

Make sure you put a couple of body pins in those 6929 screws on the rear plate.

RC10 Composite Craft Worlds build #2
Here we go again. I've had this NIP Composite Craft Worlds RC10 chassis for a few years. I was torn between building it vintage or modern. Since my first CC RC10 is mostly vintage with some modern touches, I wanted to stick true to one direction on this one. I have decided to go vintage with this on...
