This is gonna be great! I always had a soft spot for the Slingshot and owned several at one point.
Are you converting to the original belt setup? I personally like the chain conversion. Are those parts from a Dominator?

Re: morrisey0's Trackmaster Oval Car
The servo is supposed to be taped to the front tower. It looks odd, but that's what the instructions suggest. Here's a scan I made of the original manual:

Insane Speed Run RC10L
I thought for sure I posted this car when I first built it but I can't find the thread. Anyway, I decided to change up a few things to make it more like a proper speed run car of the period. These are the parts I added: - Tecnacraft Aero-Trac & diff hub - HPI front arm brace, pro rear upper plat...

Re: Insane Speed Run RC10L
It's a Sabula Tech BL2358 Air 1-10, which is made by them using the original Bolink Olds Aerotech mold.

T.M. Racing Short Track 10
I've been looking for one of these T.M. Racing ST-10 conversions for a few years and as luck would have it, several popped up for sale within about a week. This one got the full purple Trinity treatment. Along with a fiberglass axle, Pure-Tech battery straps, Technacraft steering links and Pro-Line ...

Re: T.M. Racing Short Track 10
I could never figure out how the top deck was mounted in the ad car. The section under the arms looks like it's mounted flat to the chassis, but from the servo back to the shock mount it looks like it's raises up. I wasn't sure either at first. But I used a button head screw through the front brace...

Re: Team A&L bodies coming back SOON!
Nice to see the BTS Liberator! I ran one on my carpet oval LXT and loved how it fit around the rear shocks.

Carpet Oval LX-T
Here's my LX-T that I raced on carpet ovals as a kid. It's close to how it was back then, except for the .36" shocks and yellow motor plate. I ran A&L Roadkill & BTS Liberator, Dahm's Ruff- E-Nuff SE and Andy's Lo Profile bodies. I had Trinity Pushed 1400's but the Point Blank labels fi...

Lightz Oval Conversion
It's been a while since I built an RC10. So I figured it was finally time to open a NIP Lightz oval conversion I've had for many years. There's nothing fancy on this one and I built it as more of a gearbox club racer. - Lightz oval conversion chassis - RPM 1.96 Stealth conversion - Barracuda slipper...

Re: RC10Lss Ground Effects
I found this pic of another RC10L ground effects chassis. It is similar, but not an LTO. In this iteration, the rear section is definitely acting as a diffuser. It would be fascinating to learn if they were effective. I recently built a 10L speed run car with that Tecnacraft Aero-trac rear pod and ...

RPM Ultra Molded RC10
After wanting one of these as a kid 30+ years ago after seeing the magazine ad, I was finally able to build an Ultra Molded buggy. Just added a few period mods but nothing too crazy. I was so tempted to add some stickers to this blank canvas, but it looks just too good to cover up. - MIP CVD's...
