Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Went to Amazon the other night, real quick right before bed. Searched for low profile servo. First one that came up was identical to the ones I usually get, just low profile. Hit Buy Now. :D

Re: RC10 DS Classic - Build

https://i.imgur.com/9pmmKQb.jpg Bag C is for the steering servo, and battery cup. My servo won't be here for a bit, so I'll leave Bag C sealed for now. https://i.imgur.com/aF4Dhtz.jpg Time to get the rear half built. https://i.imgur.com/umU3iK2.jpg That's a big D bag. Re: RC10 DS Classic - Build

Rear half. https://i.imgur.com/zupeWSx.jpg This DS manual is sabotage at this point. How did this happen, where the ball stud busted out of the backside? https://i.imgur.com/1vtKAPa.jpg The manual shows this picture, but in the 1:1 size chart on the cover flap, the ball studs are not available to me...

Re: RC10 DS Classic - Build

unfortunately AE forgot about thew Worlds holes on the new bulkheads. Best alternative is the inside under the wing tube holes where you have them. It was always impossible to get a driver in there haha. A tamiya took just sqeaks by

Re: RC10 DS Classic - Build

I've never built a DS so I appreciate that you're documenting your build here.
I'll definitely be coming back when I'm ready to build mine.
Thanks. :D

Re: RC10 DS Classic - Build

That Tamiya tool tip made it happen, thanks GoMachV ! https://i.imgur.com/k1eMFWe.jpg Moved the ball stud to the 'correct' location under the wing tubes, and now with the rear camber tb set according to the DSC manual, I have crazy negative camber. https://i.imgur.com/LebDGEn.jpg https://i.imgur.com...

Re: RC10 DS Classic - Build

Going to get the correct gap, then try to apply it to the other side to see if I have it exactly correct, and then report back with the actual setting necessary. Eyeball it for now. Then set your camber at ride height. https://www.amainhobbies.com/rpm-precision-1-10th-1-8th-scale-camber-gauge-rpm70...
