Re: Just another Andy’s Pro buggy build thread
I think I’m going to call this one done for now. Decided not to solder or cut any electrics. Just placed them and tied up the wiring. Went with a new Futaba S9101 steering servo. Dyed a new set of AE servo mounts black for that. Went with the new Novak 410-HPc Hyperfet ESC a new Novak NER3FM RX Trin...

Re: SG Coyote improvements
Finally, the electrics are installed as neatly as possible. There's not a lot of room in these chassis'. Everything clears the main driveshaft. I've just got the parts needed in the post for the last tuning option. Hopefully, the Coyote will be finished and running mid-January.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - January 2025 ** - Winner - coxbros1
This is a recreation of my late 80s Blackfoot. I put it back to the specs i raced it like back than, including the Lemans 240ST motor. It was the golden era of rc and this was one of my more memorable rc vehicles. Display body includes 5 coats of automotive clear. Messenger_creation_219B7354-C3BD-49...

Re: SG Coyote improvements
Finished the last improvement today. Knocked up an undertray from 0.5mm PETG. It won't help performance, but I think it's necessary considering the position of the cells. They can take an awful lot of hits from debris if you aren't using a full width chassis. 1.jpg Fitted. Bloody marvellous I reckon...

Dusted these guys off, Parma Ski Tiger with a modern hardware set up, and my old H&M No Step 2 P mono race boat. Trying to encourage myself to do a little boating in the near future.

Re: Tamiya Sand Scorcher - 2010 Reissue
Got the driver height corrected. https://i.imgur.com/8CMS0b4.jpg Despite the helmet, without any iris or pupils painted on, he's merely Born to be Mild. I'll get better at painting eyes someday and fix that. https://i.imgur.com/ngRTque.jpg Didn't add a 3D printed engine or passengers, left the US ta...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - March 2025 ** - Winner - silvertriple
This is a custom chain drive Tamiya Frog. Be sure to zoom in on the pics to see all the details. It has an ultra tall gear ratio with this setup. The B&R that was originally chosen for the build just didn't have enough torque, so in went a Lemans 550 360ST unit. It worked perfect. It is not just...
