For my fishing reels, I make my own mix of TSI 321, Corrosion X, and 99% IPA. It's mostly alcohol as a carrier fluid. Nice work! The tire writing really does it for me on a set of shelf tires, wish the paint were more durable, would love to drive around like that. Still deciding what to do on this one. Took another look at it today and thought about putting the stock chrome wheels back on - leaving it all Kyosho, ...

Very cool build. The front shock window and the billboards cut to fit the side vents are neat touches.

...then of course there's the awesome suspension.

How did AE do their chrome? Vacuum metallization... the part is put in a vacuum chamber with an aluminum wire, drawn down, then current is applied across the wire which vaporizes the aluminum and the vacuum causes it to attach to the part. Over the last few years all the vacuum metallization places...
