About 50 miles due west a large uncontained wildfire with the sunset backlighting the smoke.
High winds from the west were blowing ash as far as the house.

C&M Cobra Ground Effects
I finally found my unicorn Ground Effects car thanks to Bob Stormer. I built it straight from the kit, then built it into a replica of the Cobra ad car. I'm still searching for the correct Cobra "Pro Series" motor with the green and red label. I only had this one small scan from the magazi...

Re: off topic: fry sauce
The fry sauce saga continues.
Was at the Walmarts Friday looking for "Country Bob's" sauce and gazed upon this...
Just gave it a whirl, and not bad.

You can also place the blue spacer on the axle on the inside to bias the bone inwards. Honestly guys that aren't really builders (regardless of wha...

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build
Body is cut and fitted. The rear end is a very tight fit to the motor and spur. As soon as I can find my container with all my wings, everything can be prepped for paint and decals. Then it should just be a quick 10 year wait until I get it painted.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
This seems like it should be in Canada, maybe being chased by a statue of a cobra chicken. But still, I know fine art when I see it.

Cut the battery boxes as per MIP manual.

Re: New project -- The "BC3"
I'm getting the car ready for the upcoming Jconcepts Clash of Champions next weekend and figured I'd share some updated pics. I'll be running the modern 21.5 class as it doesn't fit in any of the vintage classes. Still a few things to do, but it's close to finished. 20250317_203904.jpg 20250317_2041...

Re: Just a Rocky Project (Formerly "My Kyosho Developed Yokomo Envy")
Finally replaced the original melted body! Not sure how I feel about my "vision" for the pain scheme, but here it is. I hate doing bodies. They never come out quite right. This I wish I had moved it forward about a mm and trimmed around the front suspension better. Still have to sticker it...
