Re: Traxxas karma?

Even if it were a higher concentration, they are safe to change in wet conditions. I'd blast mine with Electri-Clean and change them.

Most of us got exposed to tons of it when younger from brake dust and clutches.

Re: Traxxas karma?

My body soaked up so much trichloroethane from motor cleaner, solvent and gas from the auto shop, and breathed in enough dust from the cutting of carbon and g10 over the years that I don't think it will be the little bit of slipper dust from Traxxas that's gonna get me

Ronbo's Re RE 870C to Cliff Lett YZ-10 Theme EXODESIGN chassis

Got the EXODesign carbon fiber chassis with white wheels for the Re Re 870/YZ10, and possibly Works 91 (picking up Saturday). I like the box, pretty nice. Going to go with Cliff Lett 90s ROAR car as a theme, as it was what inspired the paint scheme (team car) I ran when I had my original YZ10. Which...

Re: Jammin Jay RC10

Looking through the documentary “RC10 the winning edge with Jammin’ Jay Halsey” I noticed two more decals on the rear of the body. Some other small details emerged as Jay’s father Jim talked about geometry, weight distribution, tires and electronics. I know Jay and his father did many alterations ov...

Re: Jammin Jay RC10

Looks great! I'd try to lower the body a bit more since you have the chassis cut that would facilitate it. It might be the camera view throwing me off though. 468718940_10160929077691864_1997330751379468688_n.jpg Thanks RogueIV, The body cant sitt lower unless you modify the rear shock tower. It mi...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Started into the paint and decaling of my DS. Lots of decal work left, and haven't started on the wing yet. Like all my paint jobs, she's a 2-3 footer. :D

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood

The foil takes some getting used to, and familiar with. Using gloves makes this much easier, it doesn't stick to your hands and makes it smudge free. Only the front passenger side bumper was applied so far, that's all one piece. https://i.imgur.com/t4uRwLV.jpg The left side reflects, the right side ...

Radio Shack

Oops, I did it again. Offerup RPM Ultramold

I cannot stop buying vintage buggies. This Ultramold popped up last night on Offerup and for $150 I could not not buy it. I mean, come on. It's freaking awesome! It also came with a box of spares including a NIB set of MIP CVDs for a goldpan and a OS .15 CVR engine. Screenshot_20250116-164402_Galler...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Finished up the paint and decals on my ReRe DS. Stock body, just with the Jon Gooding scheme.

I am about over decals right now, and wish I didn't need to mess with then for quite some time, but I think the next project will be just as dependent on them.

Re: The RC Corvette in - (1988) The Dead Pool - Clint Eastwood

Looks good. I'm amazed you were able to foil the bumper in one piece. Nice! :) Nitrile gloves were the key to getting the foil on there, for me, though it took a of couple swings before any contact was made . Also used a new #11 x-acto blade to barely score and then tear the excess off at the ...
