Re: Hirobo 44Bs and Zerda :)
Today, I started by reviewing the bath tub. I reveiewed the profile differently, and the sheel worked this time... https://i.imgur.com/7z0eY5J.jpg And now, it participate to the protection of the belt https://i.imgur.com/9SKoJmw.jpg While at it, I also tackled the rear belt cover. It's a very simple...

Re: JRX Pro SE "we don't do shelfers here" build
I was looking at the old Losi Tech Talks and saw this mention of the LXT shock tower change.

Re: Rebuilding my JRX Pro-SE
I started messing around with trying to implement the 5-4 rear camber link setup. Mentioned before, the challenge is the #5 hole location in the bulkhead is normally occupied by a 4-40 screw that vertically ties the chassis to the bulkhead. I first went looking for a long enough 4.8mmxM3 ball stud t...

Re: JRX Pro SE "we don't do shelfers here" build
While I was taking it apart I noticed something odd. LXT apparently changed the front shock tower design for the camber links at some point during the LXT/GTX/NXT production run. Same part number but different holes. https://i.postimg.cc/jWMQgYCK/IMG-20221105-145740670.jpg I wonder if it correspond...

Re: LXT axle length
The A-1005 & A-1012 front axles are both the same length…I measure .700” length from the shoulder to the end of the axle on both of them. The only difference is the set screw to lock it against the king pin. What you are seeing on your LXT is correct due to the added inner spacer…all the other e...

Re: Hybrid buggy build
Got it painted and most of the decals on. I've got a Hornet Z parts tree coming, which will take care of the lights and driver. After the driver is mounted, I can finish the roof decals. Considering that the Bear Hawk decals weren't designed for this body, I think they look pretty decent. Screenshot...

Detroit Worlds Schumacher Cougar prototype Kevin Moore
(Proto Cougar Detroit Report part 1) Okay, I haven’t released too many projects lately, but… there is a good reason! 😅 As we all love old RC racers, and a benchmark of vintage racing was the Detroit Worlds 91’… we all know who won it, for 2WD. 😉 This has been confirmed al lotta times, with the stunn...

Re: Rebuilding my JRX Pro-SE
So, I wasn't really happy with how the XXX-SCT Buggy rod ends fit into things, particularly with it interfering with the slipper cover and the added mix of parts, so I took a chance on the TLR 22 ball studs with the 14mm long thread. I got lucky and it was JUST long enough to fit through the bulk he...

Re: JRX Pro SE "we don't do shelfers here" build
Well, if I just would have looked a little further down the Losi forum than my own posts, I would have found BattleTrak's post about the steering enhancement kit and the camber hole comparison! - https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&p=542022#p542022

Re: Detroit Worlds Schumacher Cougar prototype Kevin Moore
(Proto Cougar Detroit Report part 2) Well… here i am again, this time i hope i can write some more detailed information about some parts, and the actual start of the build. As said before, i have been collecting the parts for about 2 years, and two months ago I started this build (see report 1). Now...
