Re: Project RC10 graphite…team car?
I can't tell you much about RC10s but it does look like a good base to restore into a runner. As far as letting the kids run it, might be better off getting them something less rare and with more parts support. like something Traxxas. Kids will be kids they're gunna crash whatever you give them a co...

Re: Your favorite ESC (with photo)
My favorite oldie is the 2nd ESC I owned, a Tekin TSC 411-G2. It's got quite a bit of mileage on it but was a solid ESC. One of the first to have solder posts iirc. I'm not sure how well the regenerative braking actually worked but that was pretty cutting edge stuff for 1993. It came with used LXT I...

Re: JRX Pro ebay find, runner rebuild
Going through some stuff i realized I had an extra set of truck threaded shock bodies. The shocks on this car weren't a matching set and on top of that the silver front bodies don't seem to seal up to the newer style of cartridges very well. I needed an excuse to use my new ultrasonic cleaner so I c...

Re: OG Ebay find
Looks to be in really great shape! Not often you see the OG mechanical speed control on them either.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Been racing the mJRX2m for a bit now, it's been holding up alright but the major issue with it was the open diff. Trying to go full throttle often leads to the car pulling to the side, not the greatest when trying to line up jumps. Sadly there's no actual direct fit ball diff or cvds available for t...

Breaking News- Check Out the 2 page ad on the Feb 2023 RC Car Action issue - Losi Mini JRXT limited edition!!! Unfortunately the QR link is not showing the vehicle yet. -limestang I kinda figured this was coming but now I'm happy! Now if MIP would go ahead and make actual CVDs for these I'd be extr...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Something occrued to me. Losi just released mini Drag cars. If those arms and dogbones are narrowed then I might have an alternative solution for running dogbones(or cvds if a kit ends up made for them) and possible arms I don't need to print.

I'm going to have to check out a set when parts become available.BattleTrak wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 8:44 pm The rear arms & bones on the drag car are different than the mini t/b..and look shorter in the diagrams.

Re: Losi Mini-T "1.0" vintage buggy conversion
Cool project! I believe the 75% scale of 1/10 scale works out to be about 1/14th scale overall. I wonder if it will really end up being a little larger than the modern Mini-B (1/16 scale), or if Losi just didn't get the numbers quite right. I know the mini JRX2 is more around 1/14 scale than 1/16 i...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Got a killer deal on this 22x-4 slider. IMG_20230128_194141999.jpg Was originally setup for clay so I've been going through it to get it ready for carpet. I actually raced it yesterday but it definitely needed a a new setup. Some old skool Losi stickers to make the ugly body slightly better. IMG_202...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Designed this and printed a few. Now can anyone guess what it's for?
It does need a revision though, I went too tall on the top part so I can't use the outer positions without it colliding with the ballcup.
