Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build
I got the transmission built. I used a 64 pitch gear set. I'm a big fan of the 64 pitch gears. I couldn't help myself from adding the aluminum hydra drive screws. They really bring back the early 90's neon feel. That's going to be one smooth transmission! I still think it's funny that they have us ...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Took my B4 basher out for some street running. The Traxxarse XL5 ESC sometimes wouldn't allow reverse. I remember that's been a problem before with this ESC. I think I need to replace it with one of the $5 Spektrum units I got (thanks for the tip juicedcoupe). 1000014421.jpg Meanwhile I had to turn...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - February 2025 ** - Winner - 1300GT
POSOTM will take place? I never owned a Masami replica but now I can hardly resist I feel like we can make it happen! if this actually happens I'm going to need to convince my LHS to sell me the JRX2 they have in a tote that looks like it's been kept outside for some of its life. I mean this thing ...

Re: Yokomo Designers / Engineers?
I know Masaaki Hirosaka (Masami's father) Was and engineer for ABC Hobby and later Yokomo but not sure of exactly what he specifically did with production cars outside of Masami's racing career though.

Re: POS Runner of the Month - March 2025
Behold a build most Grotesque. https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?p=581151#p581151 Screenshot 2025-03-09 195431.jpg IMG_20250308_002002083_HDR.jpg IMG_20250308_002113666_HDR.jpg The more you look at it the worst it gets. most of the parts are bent and tweaked. Rusty and/or stripped hardware. Hin...

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build
Shocks built using SRS cartridges and MIP internals. The internals are held in by a snap ring. I'm not sure on shock spring color. I had sourced front and rear shock sprinks in black, for a cleaner look. However colored springs just seem to suite an SE. Factory was green front and red rear if that ...

Re: POS Runner of the Month - March 2025
Reminder, no need to wait to post up your POS. Add your pics when ready (up to 3, collages are allowed). If 2 more people want in this month, there's a couple of spots. Waiting for next month to enter is fine too. Entry rules are firm but flexible? 🤔 I need to put my wreck back together for t...

Losi JRX POS...build???: Quite possibly the worst drivable JRX you've ever seen.
Born from misfit parts from ebay part car buys and Held together with hopes, prayers, copious amounts of CA glue and improper fasteners. Behold, the JRX POS: IMG_20250308_004335870_HDR.jpg IMG_20250308_002054912_HDR.jpg 90% of parts on this car should have been tossed in the trashcan years ago, but ...

Re: Losi JRX POS...build???: Quite possibly the worst drivable JRX you've ever seen.
Top view of the chassis. It's painted with some crappy uneven black paint and half of it is covered with fuzzy velcro and some weird felt stuff. this chassis did have some weird aluminum structure bolted to it when i got it but I pulled that all off. My guess is it was an oval car at some point or s...
