It's a 1 piece chassis, the kickup is "molded" in.MarkyDents wrote: ↑Sun Dec 18, 2022 10:54 am I noticed on the GP3D info page it shows the 30 deg kick-up being stated as “moulded”. On the order page it’s said to be a one piece. Which lower chassis came with your kits ?

Re: RC10GX Stealth Masami 1989 Australia World Champ Replica
The first batch gave you the option of having the built in kick up chassis like I choose or having a separate piece to cut down on costs. Doesn't look like they offer option 2 any more.

Re: RC10GX Stealth Masami 1989 Australia World Champ Replica
I think most/all other factory drivers used the "RC10 Worlds" type: https://www.facebook.com/commerce/products/rc10-worlds-shell--mirage-turbo-associated/5276677219060516?referral_code=mini_shop_profile_plus_header_cta&merchantId=2074111539302325&ref=mini_shop_storefront I don't b...

Associated's '89 Stealth car (RC10GX)
Conversion kit from GrandPrix3D has arrived and the inventory for parts has begun. Printed parts feels strong, but there's alot of work to be done to them befor they look representable. A-arms are first sanded with 120 grit, then 800 grit. Finnishing of with a lite dremel 511S Abrasive Buffs 280. Un...

Re: Associated's '89 Stealth car (RC10GX)
Thanks guys!! RC10Talk is the "real" forum for RC10's  When studying the pictures of Masami’s car I found a couple of additional holes drilled in the rear shock tower. Also cut an original bulkhead to shape. Cut, shaped and drilled the steering bell crank as per pics of Masami's car.

Re: Associated's '89 Stealth car (RC10GX)
Looking good! Did you pickup your turnbuckles before lunsford closed up? Thank you. Unfortunately I didn't... I had these in the drawer. The steering turnbuckles are 2" on these stealths so as Toaster mentioned abow I've ordered repro from gp3d. Amazing pics - love the progress :D Thank you, A...

Re: Associated's '89 Stealth car (RC10GX)
A little update.
Du-bro 1/16” collars that hold the wing in place.
At the front: Xray 5.8 mm pivot balls are as close to original Yokomo as it gets. Looks much better than the long Kyosho ones.
