RC car museum exhibition – Norway. New go from page 4!

Sorry to say I have been nothing but a spy on RC10talk until now finally registering. Incredible forum – high quality and smack in the butter eye of my field of interests in RC – thanks to all of you! And thanks for having me! My first post on this forum will be a presentation of a new temporary (Ma...

Re: Vintage RC car museum exhibition – Norway

Some more random detail pics. The back in the day picture (1982 or 83) of the Kyosho Circuit 20 (Volvo 343 body) is depicting one of the Curcuit 20s in the exhibition. The red one on display got the 3th place at the first (noticeably bouncing) 1:8 national champs in 1982.

Re: Traxxas sending cease and desist letters to aftermarket companies then backing off.

Oh yeah, they are complete trash imo and they will never get a penny from me. I was only referring to the fact they actually finally made it clear what their beef was.

I mean, they tried to sue HBO Max. Come on.

Re: Hot Trick Red Fox (Tamiya Fox conversion)

Hot Trick was an aftermarket parts company that most used flat metal plates (I think typically aluminum) for replacement parts. That looks like a Tamiya Fox that got the plastic chassis replaced with the Hot Trick kit. Well, maybe is started out as a Tamiya Fox. There's a few RC10 parts in the mix t...

Re: Hot Trick Red Fox (Tamiya Fox conversion)

From my experience, those esc's prefer a transmitter with 50/50 range.

Not saying thats the problem, just something I've noticed.

Re: Hot Trick Red Fox (Tamiya Fox conversion)

Hi there, really cool to see this Red Fox! I had a Fox in the 80's which soon got a full Hot Trick conversion with RC10 shocks and Thorp drive line. Custom fees and trades profit made Hot Trick awfully expensive here, and to my knowledge I was the only one in Norway to have this platform. Still have...

Re: Hot Trick Red Fox (Tamiya Fox conversion)

Just want to give a second opinion on body work for the Red Fox. The original Fox body is small compared to many other 1/10 scale buggies, and designed to wrap around the original monocoque chassis. As you can see it looks something like a 1/11 scale besides a Protech for the RC10. The Hot Trick kit...

Re: Hot Trick Red Fox (Tamiya Fox conversion)

Posting up two pictures of my runner. First picture of a setup from a race on carpet where only original wheels were allowed. Used a fresh set of Schumacher full spike yellow and removed the spikes for carpet racing. Would really recommend the Schumacher tires for the original Fox wheels - for the U...

Re: Grasshopper II Black Edition Rear Springs

The original one was my first kit in the 80's. I think the only way to fix the rear suspension is to swap out completely to the Super G shocks which was not really that much of an upgrade to be honest. That's why I never did it.

Traxxas Lineup 1995

Advertising nearly all the vehicles from their product range in 1995 Traxxas showcased buggy's, trucks, nitro's, a couple boats, and a glimpse at a very rare 1/5 on-road sedan: Rustler: 1/10 2wd electric stadium truck, debuted in 1994. Stampede: Released in 1994 as a platform shared 1/10 2wd electri...
