Re: RC10GX Stealth Masami 1989 Australia World Champ Replica

The first batch gave you the option of having the built in kick up chassis like I choose or having a separate piece to cut down on costs. Doesn't look like they offer option 2 any more.

Really cool project

dfmBLE-ejZQ Here's a reall cool project for the theater room I have been working on. I made a digital movie poster out of an extra 32" tv I had laying around. Built a frame for it and then did some 3D printing for the adornments on it. I resized about 40 of my favorite movie posters to 1080p x...

Tree was so big this year I had to break out the 1/5 scale to get it home 😁 Merry Christmas to all! Hope you all have a great Christmas and enjoy time with friends & family, and maybe even get a few Rc related gifts

Servus from Germany!

Hi there, my name is Chris and I am from Stuttgart, Germany. I got into RC cars at around five years old with a Tamiya Rising Storm XB. Never really liked the looks of it but sure had a blast driving it. Still own it but every time I attempt to restore it I put it back on the shelf after two minutes...

Associated's '89 Stealth car (RC10GX)

Conversion kit from GrandPrix3D has arrived and the inventory for parts has begun. Printed parts feels strong, but there's alot of work to be done to them befor they look representable. A-arms are first sanded with 120 grit, then 800 grit. Finnishing of with a lite dremel 511S Abrasive Buffs 280. Un...

Re: SERPENT 988e Taipan

Jérôme, I already given my opinion on Tinkercad... This is already complex parts your are doing here. I believe you would have interest to quickly move into Fusion360... Nice work, that being said... Thank you! I know, i will go on fusion360 or SW when i will have a new computer ;) ----------------...

Re: Associated's '89 Stealth car (RC10GX)

Thanks guys!! RC10Talk is the "real" forum for RC10's  When studying the pictures of Masami’s car I found a couple of additional holes drilled in the rear shock tower. Also cut an original bulkhead to shape. Cut, shaped and drilled the steering bell crank as per pics of Masami's car.

Re: Need Vintage Buggy Advice, looking at eBay auction.

It looks like a decent RC10. I don't think that's the original body because that's a Viper not a Protech 2, but it's a body that would have been used as a replacement. There are at least 3 holes that were added to the chassis. I'm not sure why 2 would be added for a mechanical speed control because ...
