Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

The lake is crazy low. We've had almost no rain for like 3 months. Hope we don't make up for it with snow this winter.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

I took a couple of pics while out getting my steps in today, on a trail along a kinda side area along the James River, just south of Richmond, Va. There are parts of the river here that used to be part of the original James River, but over time, more direct "gaps" were cut in to straighten...

Re: RC10 40th Green Edition

The Jun Watanabe Hornet was released in 2012 I believe. Did they re-release it under the Block Head Motors label again in 2020 or something? Since Watanabe owns Blockhead my guess is the car is from the 2012 rerelease but Blockhead was/is still making pink tires. Just one color? If you're gonna tea...

OK, let´s start.

In the beginning there is always the pile of parts. Some might be replaced later.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

Exotic view for a AE fan from Norway, northern Europe.. Picture taken today at the Getty Center LA. Staying for an oval week and giving a talk at the Getty Institute on "Insight on mechanics symposium". Only thing missing is a vintage RC10 race car in my suitcase. Would make this stay ace 8)

1991 Detroit Losi prototype – tribute car.

In mid August I stumbled across a Youtube clip called “Losi´91 Detroit Conversion Kit – First Track Test Day” published by Grand Prix 3D. After watching the clip a couple of times I emailed Andrew at GP3D and placed a pre order for at kit. I still remember taking the bus to the magazine store every ...

My Vintage Losi Fleet

Hi All, I have been restoring a few vintage Losi cars and trucks - JRX2 (JRs Choice Motor) JRXT (MTM Motor) JRX Pro (Slot Machine Motor) and nearly done with an LXT (Mighty Motor/Trinity) I have all period correct speed controls in each car/truck. My question, what radio should go where. I have the ...

My first rc paintjob

Finally got around to painting the brand new body for my hornet show car. Spaz Stix candy apple red on the body and mirror chrome on the wing. It's not perfect, but for a first time I think it's pretty good.

Jammin Jay RC10

So yeah.. Haven’t done much building the past six or seven months. Thought I kick off this November with a rere Jay Halsey replica build. Trying to get all the cuts right. Not sure how much Jay trimmed the back of the chassis. The same goes for the front sides of the chassis. Might be that Jay did a...
