Re: Help ID this GT
Black tub "sport kit" GT. Bottom of the line for the time. Looks to be in decent shape. That battery placement is...unique.

Re: Help ID this GT
With the exception of the better servo saver (on the GT) the front is identical to a 10T.
The rear arms, carriers, and bones interchange as well.

Re: RC4X4's RC10 Resto runner (basement find)
Bottom load 1.02 shocks were never made. At least, not that type. Newer V2's were a bottom load design but are a little more modern design. I did run into a pair of 1.02 bottom load bodies, gold anodized. They weren’t available on any kit but were an add on. I’ll have to see if I can fin them on an...

Re: RC4X4's RC10 Resto runner (basement find)
You say that you have some GT shocks, why not use them?
This is a set that I just stripped and polished.
I also had some aluminum caps laying around, so I did them as well.

Re: Adopted a pair of rc10s
I always wanted an RC10 but had a JrXT. I liked the look of those old buggys a lot. Grats on getting them.

Re: RC10 C stamp resto custom
Use the Factory Works / Vintage RC / RPM front tower. It has the correct geometry for a buggy and more room for the body.

Re: RC10 C stamp resto custom
Here is one of mine, with Dynotech arms and the Factory Works/RPM front tower. That is a JConcepts Detonator Worlds body. It and the regular Detonator bodies have a recessed section on the front that trims perfectly with the RPM tower. Screenshot_20220924_214710_Samsung Internet.jpg This is another ...

Re: RC10 C stamp resto custom
just curious, rpm arms front and rear or just front? great looking buggies by the way I just used the fronts. Niki used some RPM Traxxas arms on the rear of his but used some 3D parts and a mixture of other pieces. Both of my cars above have Andy's rear arms on them, with Factory Works hex adapters.

Re: where did all the rib stadium truck tires go
With the transition to indoor racing (clay/carpet) there's unfortunately a lot less demand for ribbed front tires. Jconcepts Carvers is the only racing tire currently being produced, with the JC Racing Products Double Ups as a possible alternative. Don't know if they're out of production or just wai...
