Re: A&L CUSTOM TEAM TRUCK #5 OF 5
Thank you for documenting this build. I found #2 in pieces in the garage, I'll start seeing if I can get it all back together. Not sure if everything is there and I've got some other projects to do first, but now I at least know what car that is.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Looks like a kyosho optima rear end, and a mid front gearbox, belt conversion? Not sure about the arms, out drives look like early YZ-10? But steering uprights and steering knuckles are Kyosho optima /mid era. Anyone else? Thanks, the part on the front gearbox that was throwing me off was the reces...

So Cal member with RC in the blood
I wanted to introduce myself to everyone. A couple of you already know who I am, and maybe remember my sisters and I running around M&M Raceway as a kids picking up little parts (some broken), packaging them with my dad’s equipment, and trying to sell them back to you. I’m Daryl Lane’s son. Most...

Re: So Cal member with RC in the blood
Some of the very first racing I've done

This was my dad's velodrome top speed car, he had a different one for the multi driver races.

A&L Ultima build(s)
This is my first project in the garage on the RC side. Looking through some random boxes I found 6-8 graphite A&L chassis and after looking around at other spare parts I found a Kyosho front bulkhead that matched the hole pattern on all of them, so I’m guessing Ultima. Someone correct me if I’m ...

Re: A&L Ultima build(s)
This is actually the first Lethal Weapon transmission that I've seen the inside of. Thanks for doing a build thread with one. Looks like it will be a cool set of buggies. I've got a few more to do for other builds, I was thinking about doing an actual step by step of it. You haven't lived until you...

Re: So Cal member with RC in the blood
Hey Adam...what were you racing at the Hobby Shack parking lot races? Was it a Bolink Legend spec car? I remember you racing with us but can't remember what car...lol... Good memory, Dave! That was the first car my dad got me. I’ve got pictures of it somewhere. There was one car between that and th...

Re: A&L Ultima build(s)
I got to work on the cars a little more this weekend and after looking a bit more at the Pro XL arms I have they were in pretty good shape, just dirty. I cleaned them up and stuck them on the new chassis with Ti buckles for now. I’ve got another special build that will need a set of these arms so I’...

Clear shot to win BOTY! Thank you! I've got two bodies on the way from Penguin in UK, per Jeff's recommendation...

Re: gold 8-32 aluminum screw alloy?
I couldn’t tell you right away but I’ve got occasional access to a material identification gun. It’s what the metal recycling industry uses on the unknown stuff. Pretty accurate minus the temper. For the 70-120 price for ano on the handful of screws, I could see that. You’re not really getting over ...
