Ultimate Tamiya Egress Thread
I wanted to start a thread for Tamiya Egress enthusiasts. This is easily my favorite buggy of all time from Tamiya. Whoever designed this mean-looking buggy hit a homerun. It looks so fast and awesome right out of the box. This is my all-out 2022 rendition of the Tamiya Egress. The original 1989 is ...

Re: Turbo Optima Re-Re Transmission
I think the B is supposed to be for the black color. I’ll let you know if it works as I picked one up.

Re: 3D Sets Landy Build
Lucas, prince of darkness! You know why the British drink warm beer? :D So, when I got into this, I was going to print and assemble this in the prescribed steps per the manual, opposed to how I have seen them built on YT with printing it all and then starting assembly. BUT, life, work, time, ...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - May 2023 ** - Winner - morrisey0
I am going to call this one a "quiet bump." Just enough to get it to the top of the new posts, but really actually hope no one pays attention to it.
edit: this font is hilariously small! I may use it more just for the funny!

Spencer Rivkin Replica 2019 IFMAR 2wd Worlds Winner
Huge shoutout to Larry Doe for all of this help in making this replica as accurate as possible. Still need to add the IFMAR tech decals, number plate and chassis protector but she's 99% of the way there.

Re: 3D Sets Landy Build
All the printed parts needed for just one axle. The gears should maybe be made with something a little tougher, but just out of laziness, they were printed with a tough PLA just as the cases were, which I think will ultimately be fine. If they are too weak, I don't think they will destroy too much a...

Graphite RC10 with fuzzy dice
Here's the base for an upcoming build. Graphite tub from Mr. Franky Yeung in Hongkong. Quality is second to none. 175 grams of pure happiness. On this build I will add all hop-ups I've collected over the years such as the Schumacher SACS, Factory Works steering, battery stap and rear tower. Yokomo w...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - August 2023 ** - Winner - juicedcoupe
Dinglem scared everyone away. Right now he is probably just waiting for the Loctite to dry on an AYK prototype raced by Jesus in the Olympics. This is my original Top Cat I bought new and re-acquired recently. I present it not as a "great build", but as a great experience- i.e. finding and...

Re: Factory Works “no Fox given” chassis set
Spent some time the last few weeks making the Factory Works Fox chassis better. I was never completely happy with version 1, the wonky stock steering was carried straight over and the crazy Ackerman just drives me nuts. The v2 now has our ball bearing steering kit slid in there with the entire front...
