Always do a preheat on the part for a bit of time and then let it cool and apply the powder. That will prevent outgassing from contaminants.

The bandit and rustler date back to 1994 as well, making them really the only “classic” still produced in almost its exact original form. Traxxas is making a killing and they just work.
