Re: Found great source for wheels for 1/4" axle'd RC10
Thanks for sharing that! They have been around for a while and have saved lots of us headaches!!! They make a host of wheels for vintage cars and are very well made and priced well. Glad they got you sorted out.

Re: Currently Playing
I'm jumping in here late but leo moracclio is awesome. (Frog leap studios). My favorite rendition of Africa with a KILLER out-tro riff.

Re: Currently Playing
Yeah for sure. The cool thing is he performs and mixes everything almost by himself. Wish I had that talent.

Re: little something different
That's pretty cool, shaking flour down to make a dirt track to get the cars to slide around...with old AFX MagnaTraction cars, you certainly don't even need that, they slide around like crazy already. It would be a hoot to race the bigger scales too, you definitely need a big area for a nice e...

Re: The Pinkomo 870c with WASP transmission
More like 2025.... i was planning on entering the Brimod prototype this month until somebody suggested the triple Hotshot idea. Then there is my Tomy Intruder which i haven't even posted up yet.... and my Cat XL.... one win per year then no more entries kinda sucks!!!! with those 4 as wins you'd ha...

Re: Currently Playing
Todd, I won't lie, I like pop music from the 50's thru today, but man the Auto-Tune is just killing it for me in some of the new stuff. I don't mean that song specifically, nor do I claim to know what I'm talking about! As for chick singers, I've been on a bit of a Cranberries revival lately. ...

Re: RCCA Truck of the year 1992
I created that 2-page spread ad showing the truck in question. (Probably have a copy of it torn out of an issue in my legacy folder.) Unfortunately, I wasn't there for the shoot. I was given that photo, I scanned it, and added it to the artwork. I have no other photos of this that I can think of. Th...

Re: Getting the big Fairlane back on the road.... Going the whole 9 inches
I thought I'd give myself the kick to get going on it again after a tough (non covid related) end to the year..... I've installed the shift light into the factory wiring and it works flawless. Set to a conservative 5000 RPM, in second gear the speedometer reads about 80 MPH, bang third and before yo...

RC10 Noob Questions
Yes Dadio has finally got an old AE RC10 ! A well used A stamp that's never going to be show standard , I'm probably not doing a build thread but there will be the inevitable questions :D I've stripped down most of it except the gearbox and put all the nylon bits in water to rehydrate for a few days...

Re: Full custom classic RC10 build
it would not be allowed in vintage class because it's essentially a custom b4/b5? I don't know the exact model base of the arms/noseplate/tailplate. there are really no vintage parts on it, more importantly, the geometry is based on current tech, which defeats the spirit of the vintage class. that s...

Re: Project F-Bomb: Reimagining a WLToys 144001
Here's a fun update for this project. Well, the front shock towers on this chassis got in the way of mounting an on-road body as low as I wanted. I tried everything I could think of and there was still too much clearance between the front fenders and the tires. Clearly this build will have to be a t...
