I don't like to think that either but they ARE here. They usually out themselves like ASA did with the rc10 book so many years ago. I'm still banned from his ebay auctions from my comments here  .

Re: Got a 870c. Need help on cleaning

If I was you I would find someone to glass bead blast them for you. They come out looking new then you just spray them with a clear topcoat to preserve the finish. I've bead blasted for other members here on the board so if you get in a bind drop me a line. Otherwise, stainless steel or brass wheel...

Re: Cerakote Questions

cerakoting has been kinda popular in the 2A realm for a little while now. A guy who built some of my rifles checked into it and started off with a 'starter' kit...which snowballed into some major $$ for him with inconsistant results. In the end he now sends most of his stuff out to get done. He foun...

Re: Nostalgia Made Me Do It - N Hawk

Tuning it would make me nuts every time I used it. Pretty certain it wasn’t the engine, just my lack of knowledge back then. might've been part you but mostly it was the carb on the thing. They were junk from the get go. needles might as well been square fitting into a round hole for being able to ...

Re: Storm 2000 wheels

I actually never really knew of the 9/16" hex. SOOO, when I was more able and had the ambition several years back I bought a basket case of schumacher carcassese off a member of this board. I used traxxas rear 12 mm hex wheels to finish up the rears since I had the fronts I didn't need to do an...

Re: Kyosho Turbo Inferno - New Rebuild

Were they produced in a small number or just not considered collectible? Can't speak for everyone here but my LHS was a mom&pop store around this time. Our local answer to this was that Kyosho was a very hard brand to become a distributor of. Once he worked around that and got stuff into the st...

Re: Can you I.D. these?

Got a couple nice projects there 8) the red wheeled rc10 looks like maybe someone started a truck conversion. Looks like front tower may be a JG truck conversion tower. Shocks look like kyosho golds but could be duratrax golds. The duratrax will have a bevel on the bottom of the shock body and usual...

Re: Can you I.D. these?

The silver shocks look to be the kyosho platinums as mentioned above. But yeah, the gold shocks look like they got the bevel/chamfer on the bottom of the shock body. That would make them duratrax. The bottom of a kyosho shock body will be sharp where the duratrax shock will have a slight bevel. The ...
