What about more to the midwest type thing? Stay clear of Illinois but Montana, Dakotas or Iowa to stay towards the north all have decent state govts and taxes so you might be able to stay away from what your are moving from... No experience but for the whole hate my governor thing here in illinois s...

Since your initial post, I've been looking through the money pits in eBay for some old HO slot cars, but everything I like must be made of gold. :roll: all depends on what you want. Funny thing about slot cars is I thought I was getting cheaper when I went into R/C :lol: So far I think this breaks ...

good point about the gt40 body and I always loved that body. Seen it on a ntc3 back when they were new and decided it was NOT for a nitro...unless you used that body with a LD heatsink. Those aren't Great performers but for a mild runner or shelfer they are nice :wink: Either way, I'm looking forwar...

yes, most new tires today won't work on your 3pc wheels. I've seen guys glue them...not that I recommend that. you don't necessarily have to convert your 10t over to 3/16 axles. back when I first ran my gt the lhs had a boatload of 3/16 wheels but no 1/4 so we just used a 1/4 drill bit and did a lit...
