Re: A&L Ultima build(s)

New shock day. I had four front platinums but didn't see any rears so I went with the new golds that I had. https://filedn.com/lrK7XiCxEw7LTTVXJ3axE8b/2022-05-22%2014-48-09.jpeg I'll get some proper pics later but here's a quick shot with the shocks and rear axles in. It's starting to look like a ca...

Re: Hello from SoCal

Hey all, just posting my first message. I'm getting back into the hobby after 25 years. I'm not interested in vintage RC stuff but I have an old RC truck (JrXT ?) that still runs and I was going to throw out, but then thought maybe someone would want it. Sadly I can't post details in the buy/sell f...

Another A&L team truck prototype build

Hey all, welcome to my A&L Team Truck builds, I wasn't sure where to put this but since #5 of 5 is here I thought I would keep them in the same area. The trucks are #2 of 5 and what I’m guessing is #1 of 5. This is a special one for me, I’ll be keeping one in the collection and most likely let t...

Re: A&L CUSTOM TEAM TRUCK #5 OF 5

These old Trucks are so much cooler than any of the modern stuff.

Re: Technology "Firsts" in the RC industry (with pictures)

Ball differential technology: The first ball differential for Radio-controlled Cars was designed by Cecil Schumacher, a British motor sport engineer working at Cosworth and founder/owner of his eponymous model brand. Although a patent was applied for, it was denied as the idea had already been imple...

Vintage AE's A&L Trailing Arm RC10

I feel like noobe all over again. I started this build years ago when painting an extra body I had lying around. After sitting on it awhile I've finally decided to pull the trigger on the A&L chassis kit. I opted for the 4 hole front tower and fiberglass chassis. There will be some waiting on se...

Re: Vintage AE's A&L Trailing Arm RC10

Chassis would need to have two holes drilled out, a longer trans brace, and you would need to modify the rear bumper. They trans and the chassis were different eras, and were not really used together. That said I have built quite a few c2 with lethal weapon.

Re: Hello from SoCal

Welcome - fellow SoCal member here - vintage is a riot at the track, I still toss my vintage out against the modern guys just to have a blast. We have some small groups who have vintage only battles as well, before tossing it away, ask around, take a look, have some fun with it, then pass it along i...

Re: Give a pro driver a crappy car experiment

This is from a few years ago. Not that I'd call his truck crappy but it was definitely outdated.

RPM 7077 "91 WORLDS" RC10 Team Car Front End Kit

A little side project. I’ve had this in a drawer for a while and decided to get it cleaned. It’s quite impressive what a thorough clean can result in. Boiling water. Simple green. Toothbrush and pipe cleaners. Brass brush on the Dremel and Birschwood Casey Super Blue for the hardware. No hydro perox...

Final piece added.
The correct RPM springs.
If you need a pair, just send an email to RPM. They still have a stash.

Re: Traxxas sending cease and desist letters to aftermarket companies then backing off.

Really Rich coming from a company that stole more ideas and designs than anyone! :P
