Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2023 ** Winner - TheDiamondOne
Tamiya hybrid buggy, built mostly with Blitzer Beetle parts. It also uses parts for a Stadium Thunder and Hornet. https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=47655 The yellow CVA shocks are from a Vanquish and the CVD shafts are for a TA-02. It uses AmPro upper and lower chassis braces. The wh...

Re: Hot Trick Red Fox (Tamiya Fox conversion)
From my experience, those esc's prefer a transmitter with 50/50 range.
Not saying thats the problem, just something I've noticed.

Re: JrxT Build.
Man I wish Losi still made those tires. They don't say Losi, but Schumacher makes a stagger rib that is nearly identical. They also have a mini spike rear. Oh I know but it just doesn't hit as well without the "TEAM LOSI" on the sidewall  Oddly enough I have several sets of Losi tire...

Re: RC10T2
The Green Machine will be harder to do, as it has a crimped on endbell. However, the brushes are easily changed. The other can be disassembled and serviced easily. While you can't directly tell by appearance, both motors look to be in excellent condition. Chances are, they probably don't need much. ...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2023 ** Winner - TheDiamondOne
I don't think it will get much love, and my photography and camera need to improve, but it's fun to take part this month! I never enter with the expectation of winning. If that was the case, I'd have stopped playing the lottery years ago. And even though my vote went somewhere else, I do like your ...

Re: CC/Delta mutt
Did a little work on this one. Swapped the Novak receiver for a Tekin, to match the esc. Slightly modified an RJ Speed front bumper, and trimmed the body. Re: A&L Body fitment
If you can find one, I think the Andy's Pro Arrow fits as well. He does a batch every now and then.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Finally got me a "modern" buggy.
A B4 is about as modern as I'm going to get.
Overall, it looks to be in pretty good shape. Some electronics, front tires, and a wing should have it going.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
After work, put some electronics in my newly acquired B4.
Hitec Shredder receiver, Yokomo SCR-BR esc, and an Flight Test servo. I don't have many extra Reedy motors, so I used a Trinity Speed Gems Pro (15X2).

Re: Substitutes for Vintage Losi Ball Studs?
Yes, Custom Works have the correct ball size. I believe that CRC is as well.
If you have some plastics that are stripped, Schumacher ball studs have the same ball size but with slightly larger M3 threads.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Fitted up a RJ Speed Jeep crawler body on one of my Blackfoots, using Monster Beetle mounts. I need to narrow the rear mounts a little but the overall fit is better than I'd hoped for.

Re: Getting a Chassis Gold Anodized
I used oven cleaner in the past to remove existing anodizing but this was years ago, I'm not sure if the cleaners are the same as they were back then.. You want the yellow can. Real Easy-Off seems better than the off brands but definitely has a stronger odor. I have even used the Dollar Tree brand....
