Re: What spring tension or brush hardness should I use for older motors?

Here is a old Trinity brush chart. While you might not be able to find these exact brushes, it should serve as a good guide

Re: What spring tension or brush hardness should I use for older motors?

If you just want a basic serrated brush, check Tekin. They have brush and spring kits for standup and laydown. If I didn't already have a stockpile of brushes, springs, and the tools to modify them, they would be my most likely choice. Reedy, Team Brood, Jconcepts, and others still offer new brushe...

Just bought this heap on ebay

Given the current price of Stealth transmissions, I couldn't pass this up. Total price was $140. It has CVD's which will likely end up on my Team Truck. The Tekin esc looks to be in good shape. The shocks look like Traxxas, they'll be spare parts. I bought it to strip for parts. But I may buy anothe...

Re: Modern RPM Worlds Shocks?

You might also consider a Quadra shock tower.

I am building a car with the RPM style, Klein arms. I plan on using that front tower with buggy length shocks.

Re: Modern RPM Worlds Shocks?

Perhaps, just use a longer shock shaft. Then add external limiters to prevent bottoming the pistons.

The original RPM front used 10T front shocks. The front shocks on mt RC10T measured 85mm fully extended, from the mounting bolts.

Re: Subwoofer Repair

OK, so I go take a look at his Bronco and he opens the back. There is his box and sub. The surround was torn and shredded, the cone was shattered and half the cone was missing. It looked like someone threw a grenade in there. Long story short he had “glued” the box together with liquid nails then a...

I'm usually the same. However, I did make an exception for the Ultramold Hybrid.

Even my cars that I have no intention of actually running, are fully functional.

Aftermarket or not, a Ultramold is still an "RC10". So, no.

Re: Just bought this heap on ebay

With an ebay chassis and more raiding of the the parts boxes, its now a roller. It actually still needs several small items before it will be ready for electronics. I just stuck a servo in to hold steering. I was going to leave it in pieces until I got everything for it but thought better of it. Wit...

Re: Mid-motor B1, B4, B6 V2

I know its a little late bot Losi TLR 231083 mounts are a good match for some mini servos.

All four holes line up on a Futaba S132H but only two line up on the smaller Hobbico (Hitec).

Re: Hello Yall From Mississippi

Yeah we had the timing and all right and so was the valves- for some reason I guess the race fuel done something and even after turning the motor over some, the guy said the rings were froze up and he fixed it up and running good. He said all the block was fine and they just freshened it up and sent...
