Re: Chrome Spray for Lexan

While it definitely isn't "chrome", I use Duratrax Silver Streak on bumpers and such. It is metallic and reflects well in sunlight (its overcast today, so...).

It also works great as a neutral backer.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

Then I realized I just bought ball bearing kits for the 40th and CC that will never be run :| Who's the idiot? Don't feel bad. If I went by that logic, only like three of my cars would even have electronics in them. And none of those are nice ones. My view is that all of my cars should be ready to ...

Re: What are your plans with your re-release RC10T?

Since I already have seven 10T's, I can't justify buying the kit. Same thing with the 40th.

Now if they re-re the TQ10 or coffin car, I'm in.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Picked up the remnants of a Traxxas Stampede, cheap. I figured that if the esc or Cirrus servo worked, it was worth it. Both worked, the esc just had a bad switch. 20240624_175406.jpg Also got a couple servo lots. The Shredders were one package and everything else was another. 20240624_175809.jpg

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Finally got around to the paint, body, and decals on my Blackfoot.

I still have to paint the driver but I need some more paint and fresh brushes for that.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - July 2024 ** - Winner -GrePo

I'll throw in one of my Blitzers. This one is a mix of original and re-re parts. - The only mods are Am-Pro upper and lower chassis braces, flipped steering blocks, and HD servo saver. I also used longer ball cups on the steering for more thread engagement (a problem with the re-re rods). - Electron...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

A pair of these , £12 delivered , no branding or side wall lettering but I'm still happy at the price . Anybody any ideas of what they are ? IMG_20240706_213236_267~2.jpg Maybe? These? They sure look like the same ones, but I rarely really know what I'm talking about. Screenshot_20240707-0545...

creflo wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2024 2:51 pm So I learned that a battery with wires coming out of the end won't fit into the battery cup. What are others doing? I hate to cut the original cup to accommodate the wires.
Which chassis (A, B, etc)?

How are you mounting the battery, inline or transverse?

What type of battery?

I use heavy duty shears or aviation snips.

Maybe clean up the edges and corners with sanding blocks, belt sander, or Dremel.

Re: OG Clodbuster

It depeds on what you like. Personality, I wouldn't trade.

That Clod is probably worth way more than the Infraction.
