Re: RC10B6.4 shock springs

If you can find some older Losi springs, they fit. Any of the big bore stuff will require a spring collar and different cups. Any idea what model Losi? I do have some springs that are Traxxas "Big Bore" spring that I believe are for E-Maxx and T-Maxx, part number 4649R. Good diameter, bad...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Now I have everything to covert the Blitzer Beetle to a Stadium Blitzer -- which is why I bought it in the first place. Have fun masking and painting the roll bar. It's annoying but worth the trouble. Screenshot_20240208_112315_Gallery.jpg For the number plates, I use scrap lexan from the wheel cut...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Another nice decal set from MCI to go with the body and wheels that arrived a few days ago. You forget the window masks? The windshield is on the smaller side, so that it can be trimmed in color. The rear window aren't "necessary", because of the decals. But being clear will allow a small...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Not all today, or even this week. But I've been slowly breaking this neglected Frog back to life. Lots of paint and polishing.

Re: Who remembers the Chrysler Turbine car?

Best car ever made..period...not an opinion..FACT! Said no one ever, about a Chrysler product (at least, not anyone who has ever had one). The closest thing they have is Jeep, and the best Jeeps were when AMC owned them. AMC design carried on into the I6 4.0, which wasn't horrible. MOPAR did make s...

mAdMan wrote: Fri Feb 16, 2024 9:53 am Was that 427 SOHC?
SOHC's were sold through dealerships but not used on the production line. That was the loophole that Chrysler used to get them banned from NASCAR.

The S/C used a detuned version of the 427 side oiler, which was used in NASCAR and in the GT40 (Ford vs Ferrari).

Re: New transmitter wheel for Sanwa

I like the JConcepts ones, extremely comfortable. Only thing that I don't like is the grey color.

I put some grease there. It's not even snug (red Loctite keeps it in place). The screw keeps the diff from separating under load.

Not enough room for anything else. With the hex axles, they can rub the screw.

Re: .12 Nitro Monster Beetle

If you have the option, the MIP diff, Blackfoot counter gear, and re-re dogbones/CVD's is a better option.
