Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Won these two chargers at an online auction for $10.
When I started back in the day I had the same as the right one in the picture.
Goes straight into the collection. :D

Re: Blasphemous B2.4 Racer

NIce roller. Lots of different suspension combinations you can go with between front and rear b2/b3 arms, all the different width front axles, and b4 front caster block and b4 rear hubs.

Re: Blasphemous B2.4 Racer

With modern hex wheels in the rear, if you use shorter B2 rear arms, you will need B4/B44 rear hubs, B44 length driveshafts (~63mm), and wider T4 hexes. If you use longer B3 rear arms, then you'll use B4/B44 hubs, B4 length driveshafts (~65mm), and narrower B4 hexes.

Re: Blasphemous B2.4 Racer

It works the way it is, really. Put the right oil and pistons in the shocks, a set of slicks, add electronics, paint the body and you're done.

Re: Take Two - Plan B Race Truck

Shocks finally arrived for this, I think I had a bit of a win too as I believe the shocks were originally off an FT truck as they have unobtanium shock shafts. I can live with that, lol. The shocks were pretty cheap too and look new. I still need to rebuild them but they look good. The big dilemma i...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

I was too excited last night to take pics of the packages but I got a care package from teshreve . A pair of mystery CVDs, a complete 2.19:1 XX transmission, and a pair of wing tubes. Lets just say I've been wanting to do this since my first ProSE in the 90s. After some transplanting the XX guts int...

A&L Yokomo Prototype parts

Thanks to Daryl's son Adam, who sent me some awesome blueprints, I was able to recreate the arms (rears are 2°) and gearbox that Chris used for the 89 Reedy race. The parts were originally machined by Chris by hand, and Daryl later decided to draw them to see about production. Apparently that just n...

Re: What's in the mail? Or, What are you currently waiting for?

^^^ I've been having that same issue too!! Just ordered something that was shipping from 1.5hrs away in WI, watched it travel to Florida and back with USPS.
In their defense, this "efficiency route" only took an extra few days. 8)

Re: What's in the mail? Or, What are you currently waiting for?

From my experience when everything goes right with USPS you are good. The minute you see "in transit to next location" your hosed. Once it makes one wrong move, add days or a week to the transit time. It's like that first error basically sends it in circles or the slowest possible route ge...
