Polycarbonate is inicredibly light and strong but I am a little worried how little they flex......the rear arm mounts are probably a weak point. Front end mostly together, nothing too exciting. Just polished up the grubby front axles, grubby king pins and the likes. Problemo #4.....insufficient front travel. So the quardra arms have a bit too much material around the bulkhead mounting. Out comes the file.....Perfect!

Transmission time.... Old grey idler and ceramic bearings 20241029_235033.jpg 7075 aluminum top shaft to lighten the rotational load, and since I bought the wrong slipper eliminator I had to drill a new hole in the top shaft. 20241029_235104.jpg Slipper eliminator fits well and is pretty minimalisti...

I had to space the tower forward a little for some extra clearance when using 12mm springs and maintain proper shock angle.

Front is way more limited, I was shocked ( ) to see that much travel in the rear lol!

So Reggie I figured out your buddies problem, the motor plate needs to be shimmed out by about 1mm.

Looks to be an extremely clean example

So I added a .040 shim to the JC tranny. Things are lining up a lot better.

New motor for the storage case, lol.
