Re: 'ITS A BOY!!!' Congrats to RETRO R/C
CONGRATS! Looks like since you gave up wearing pink, it acutally helped tone down that femine seed of yours.

TRX-1 Scott Montgomery Replica
So I'm starting to do some research on doing a Scott Montgomery replica circa the 92 nats. I know he used a losi ball bearing steering crank but I'm unsure of the electronics. The most I could find is a Novak ESC, Peak motor, Airtronics radio, Orion batteries and Losi/Proline tires. Anyone know what...

Re: TRX-1 Scott Montgomery Replica
Yes the TRX- 1 was very popular over here in Aus. Brendan Coleman won the Nationals and Vic States (stock) with one in 1992.
That car had a milled chassis from memory. Glad I kept my original from 1992

This is a tribute to the great line of RC10 buggies produced since 1984-2009 (RC10 - RC10B4). This is a work in progress. It will take some time and help from fellow members, as we all learn new things about the different versions. So please be patient! I will also be updating completed cars as new ...

Re: Traxxas Magazine?
Sadly the days of Steve Pond and Chris Chianelli are long over. I will not waste my money on Car Action ever. Biased magazine Yea, RIP Chris. I talk to Steve on occasion and its fun to talk about the "old days" of RC. When he was the Editor at RCCA. Now he just acts as ROAR pres. AND work...

Hot Trick Hot Shot - shelfer and runner
Back in the days I had one Hot Trick car. My Tamiya Fox got a full Hot Trick conversion, resulting in a dramatic change of appearance, a debatable upgrade in driving characteristics - and confusion of threads in my screw box. Today I have several Hot Trick conversions where two are runners – a Fox a...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
I just happened to remove the post this morning. It was up long enough. I like how he wouldn't respond to my comment either.
He's a grifter, especially in the RC10 space.

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
To me the car is a total rip-off of Jeff's kit...looks nothing like the prototype car that ran in the IFMAR 's that they are promoting in they're ads online...and it's not an opinion..it's a fact. I am curious to see if it will be legal for vintage racing. Technically it IS a re-re (of Jeff's car f...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
Let's not pretend US companies are saints. Those guys in the video with names we all seem to idolize around here are as AE as it gets and paid by Thunder Tiger too. And they seem perfectly comfortable in that space.
