i dont want to freak you out but u have some seriously "holy grail" esc's there! some people on here will brown there trow when they spot em :lol:

Old ESC's you should be fine but beware of putting drills through multi layer PBC's as you can ruin them.

of u have a good soldering station ($50 or less on ebay, got two been using g for years) that goes to 480 celsius, heat the wire/board, pull the wire out, then reheat where the wire is and blow the solder area with your mouth while pulling the iron away...it will make a perfect hole to put a new wir...

Next stop front and rear diff covers, not the best choice but cleaned up the best front and best rear and threw them on...

A few different people have made those in aluminum over the years. I figured they were all aluminum. Maybe some of the manufactures only made the faces in aluminum.

Got it done and tested...New body too! Went with a Twisters mod instead of the Checkpoint for brush wear reasons...plus Twisters are cool. Tis a ripper for sure! runs literally 20x faster than that nicad/tekin setup. tracks straight as an arrow and howls like a banshee...back to my favorite car agai...

Looks to be pretty much NIB, a couple packages have been opened.
Also came with new set of Tamiya ball bearings and a new Twister Pocket Rocket!

Interestingly, diecast aluminum was used by Kyosho for the standard kit front hubs.
This is true for the re-released versions as well.
