Re: Project TLRampage
Staying home most of the time due to this virus situation at least means I'm making a lot of progress with my RC projects. For this one, I got the body mounts fabricated. BodyMounts1.jpg BodyMounts2.jpg And a few pics with the body mounted. I probably won't be mounting the wing, because the Octane b...

Re: Shodog's RC10 Tube chassis build
Updating this thread to show some of the changes I’ve made. I wasn’t satisfied with the renegade body. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/RC10%20Tube%20Chassis/FFC81B9C-EB7B-4942-BACB-0A892C371ECD_zpsk7ivq2cf.jpg I wish it sat lower like the Protech body does. http://i247.photobucket.c...

Re: 3D Printed RC Parts
The fibre fill plastics are a major step forward in strength , way stronger than the commonly accepted weak parts that were the early norm for 3d printing but you also have to design for the process as above .

Re: 3D Printed RC Parts

Early on parts didn't hold up well, but the tech and materials have gotten much better since then. Running but not frequently. I don't have my own printer: all of mine are printed nylon on an hp...

Re: Buggy and truck chassis the same?
Yes they are the same for the most part. Early models will not have holes drilled for the stealth transmission, A stamp. B and C stamp will be drilled for it. There are some other small changes with battery tray screw holes but overall the truck and buggy parts will interchange.

Re: Subaru Impreza rally car build
Well, I guess that makes three of us. I looked at that Lancia a very long time before I realized it was a model. :D That T/A looks amazing as well; I'd like to see more of that car. Anyway, there's one final modification to the Scooby that I’d like to cover. The body came from Tamiya with bod...

Re: Subaru Impreza rally car build
That turned out great. Thanks for sharing. I doubt Tamiya will switch to hex screws anytime soon. That's like asking for bearings instead of plastic bushings  No other company can touch them as far as number of kits to build. They have tons! You're right. Tamiya wouldn't sell more kits if they...

Re: Scr8p's Worlds Rere #7 / 2021 Vonats
The box was cut out when i got it. The guy I bought it from used a stick pack the one and only time he drove it. I trimmed it up more to make it look better.
