Re: Solution to reduce play in the dogbone cup of my RC10B4? Can you help?
So if you're the earlier B4, that should be 7667 and 7668 replacement outdrives. If you're the later B4 with the metric outdrive bearings, it should be the 9852 outdrive set... if you change your mind and are willing to get replacement parts. Given that the parts are still available at list prices ...

Re: RC10B4 vs. RC10B4 factory team collectibility value?
Appreciate the interesting points. I think the generational point about attachments we have to the hobby/modeling aspect is a good one! I like the period correctness of having a NIB with a story. I think that's the value I place upon the B4 stealth. I would agree that RTR's today probably don't giv...

Re: RC10 Protector by J Concepts (thoughts & examples)
That body is close enough to a protech that you could just use those as examples. Tons of paint jobs around on the original body.

Re: 2WD buggy from 2022 vs. 4WD buggy from 1992...who would win?
My mate has an old Schumacher Cat SX and if I take my Losi 22. 4.0 out onto the track I can (just about) keep up with him. However, I have to literally drive out of my skin to do it while he can be much more composed and consistent meaning I can put in a really fast lap, comparable to his, but he ca...

Re: Thundershot or Thunder Dragon best mods or adjustments
1. Thickest oil as possible in front. I run on high grip. 2. Cvd in front. Tamiya / Yeah racing df-02/df-03 fit 3. Front suspension arm bracket. You can find 3D printed versions. I have a few alloy ones from Full Option (looks for David Beeby on FB). Parma also did a version back in the day. 4. Repl...

Re: Thundershot or Thunder Dragon best mods or adjustments
Well, let's see if I can remember what it was like racing the Thundershot against Yokes, Optimas and other 4wd Tamaiyas... First of all, get ball bearings. I could never afford 'em and it wobbled around the track like an elephant looking for a place to die. Second, buy a decent modified motor. The o...

Re: What to do with an RC10 Graphite chassis with gold guard?
Build it.
My graphite car started as just the chassis. Nobody says that it has to be done at one time.

Re: What to do with an RC10 Graphite chassis with gold guard?
It's a great piece to have. I've been interested in one to learn how to repair and resurface carbon fiber. it could look quote nice to just polish up the surface and display it as is. No reason to rush into a build. Build it when you get the parts. Look for parts over time and bid prices you can aff...

Re: What to do with an RC10 Graphite chassis with gold guard?
If you can share any pictures of your graphite car that would be great too. My graphite car is still an ongoing project. This is how it currently sits, partially mocked up. I'm still collecting parts. Screenshot_20220331-171008_Gallery.jpg Here are a few other parts that will be used on it. Screens...
