Re: Forum News & Discussion
Alright, the update has been completed successfully :!: I started it at 3:00am east coast US time in an attempt to cause minimal disturbance. It took roughly 3 hours to complete. I still have a number of modifications to reinstall, and some skins as well, but didn't want to keep the board closed any...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Re: Forum News & Discussion

If you're directly replying to the most recent post in a topic like I'm doing to yours, having to quote it can be seen as a little redundant. I can see though where it would be needed like if you'...

Re: need help sourcing small strip stock
Oh sorry, I thought you said stripper's socks. I was going to suggest that you just hide under a stall in the dressing room and wait for them to all go home. That's how I get their underwear. My bad.

Re: Currently Playing
Pretty cool Jools.

Re: Found in a box of parts...
any electronic speed controllers can be used with modern batteries and brushed motors. The only issues to watch for are the input voltage is within the specs of the controller, and to use caution or simple voltage alarms to avoid over-discharging lipo batteries. The last issue is to be aware that th...

Re: Forum News & Discussion
That seems good in theory but it doesn't work that way unfortunately. I manually make a backup every so often, and I think there's a modification out there that will do it automatically once a month or so but this place is too large for that. The problem is it's all or nothing. You can't just backup...

Accounts cannot be closed
After receiving several requests for account closure, it's something I feel needs to be addressed. Closing your account is not an option. If you no longer have a use for RC10Talk such as leaving the hobby for instance, you say your goodbyes if you wish, and leave on a good note. It also leaves the d...
