Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Some silvercan racing and runnnig the JRX Pro SE for the first time. There were hiccups. I blew up a belcrank immediately when i bound my radio as the horn wasn't set to center. Thankfully Chris at RCM allowed me to dive into the boneyard and i wrestled a belcrank out of a very dirty JRX2. Got some ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
No idea what I’m going to do with these, thought they were too cool to pass up though. There’s no markings on them but they seem hobby grade.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Finished up the paint and decals on my ReRe DS. Stock body, just with the Jon Gooding scheme.
I am about over decals right now, and wish I didn't need to mess with then for quite some time, but I think the next project will be just as dependent on them.

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
Anybody know if the RCD/Hitec Shredder receiver housing is lexan or hard clear plastic? (Not the storage/display case). Screenshot_20250120_082606_eBay.jpg My couple appear to be hard plastic, from memory.... will grab them out tonight and confirm, if someone else doesn't beat me to it. That's enou...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Made two new bumpers.....wasn't happy with the width on the first one I made a while back. The added width covers both front tires and should help protect the kingpin/graphite crossbar weak spots a bit better. For what it's worth, my chicken scratch/drawing is in the photo if anybody is interested. ...

Another OS Engine overhaul......
Well here we go again with another engine overhaul. This time it's a late OS .15CV-X. I managed to pick this engine up from the hobby shop for $20 as it was locked up solid. It was quite dirty and the filter foam perished but the engine appeared to be in reasonable shape. 20250126_225612.jpg 2025012...

Re: Another OS Engine overhaul......
Engine stripped bare ready for cleaning, it actually came apart pretty easy with the exception of the crank which required a little persuasion and persistence. 20250126_230839.jpg I love these parts shakers, the only thing better would probably be an ultrasonic cleaner. Maybe I should invest in one ...

Re: Another OS Engine overhaul......
To save all the boring bits here is the engine all cleaned ready for reassembly 20250126_231819.jpg Bearings, crank, piston and liner all assembled, it doesn't look like this engine has had much use. 20250126_232026.jpg This was new to me, looks like OS changed one way bearings at some stage. This o...
