Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I was expecting multiple cars / parts to come in this week, but US Customs and USPS have decided I shouldn't have any of these yet. So, I needed a "quick" project for my Saturday night (MIL is now staying at my house so Friday and Saturday nights aren't what they used to be), and ma...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Then I noticed on the instructions that came with the solid axle (in Japanese) that there was a 0.2mm spacer pictured on one side of the axle, before the bearing. Could that possibly make the difference? Yep..... a 0.2mm spacer is the difference between gear mesh and skipping mesh. Could have knock...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

The TC4 is coming together well for a nothing build. Found some no-tread tires for the front. I am sure I have something better somewhere, just haven't found it yet. The back wheel track is on point, and the front may still be a bit narrow ............. but they are only on with about 1/2 wheel nut ...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread

But... I've got some REALLY awesome later ads  ...jokes aside, I've been of the same mindset, cutting the ads off around 2000. Really appreciate ya'lls kind words. I'll keep including the ad info and if anyone has any thoughts or opinions (good or bad) let me know, I'd be happy to hear it....

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Finished my DIY bumper....thanks to everybody who chimed in on my last post....score and snap method won the day....followed up with dremel, hand sand, vice/heat gun for a 35deg. kick up. Came out better than I thought....but think it might be time to invest in a mini band saw for the shop. 20240716...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I haven't gotten in a good RC hunt roadtrip in some time, so headed a couple hours away this morning. The STs were the original deal, and then the Optima became an unexpected side deal. :)

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Is that a Composite Craft originated chassis? I'm not sure. I usually expect Composite Craft to have the black white black layers showing at the edges but I have a NOS chassis for an Optima that has an all black edge. This also has an all black edge. Based on surface finish and general overall qual...
