Re: Schumacher Nitro 10 MK2 Ad
Yeah nah, that's not correct. Mk1 was Irvine S15R at .15 / 2.5cc. Mk2 Irvine S15R2, still at .15 / 2.5cc - just a few slight improvements (block, carb, etc.). Mk3 came with the option of a .12 engine (a Leo, from memory), or no engine at all, and you could install your own with a specific engine in...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Another early morning road trip. I don't even know what I have here really, and the [Spanish only] seller had no idea what he had, as he only got it as payment for something. It seems to be two complete chassis and drivetrains, and some duplicate plastic parts, but only one cab and one set o...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
What model of Schumacher is this? Does it look like an off road model that has had on road tires added and body mounts added? . 1000010225.png Hopefully Alex or Retro RC can chime in with a good answer. It looks like a Pro CAT to me because it has the Top CAT style rear suspension and the XLS style...

Re: Schumacher Shotgun/Storm 1/Nitro 10 Wheel Help!
My Storm is the later version based on the Cougar 2000, and wheels for it were tough enough. You may have a hard time with the older ones. I ended up with proper rears and adapted fronts. There are castle fitment to hex adapters available. This is a good choice for a runner. They are available...

Re: Schumacher Shotgun/Storm 1/Nitro 10 Wheel Help!
Hi there,
Here is a Storm wheel. Measures should be sort of ok.
From the back edge of the rim to the bottom of the castle: 12ish mm.
Front to surface of wheel nut: 32,5ish mm.
Good luck!

Schumacher Nitro 21 XT Ads
Schumacher brought the Nitro 21 XT to market in 1999, two years after releasing the original Nitro 21 XS. The XT's more powerful engine sat atop a bright yellow powder coated Cougar style aluminum chassis with revised shock towers and chrome turbo vane wheels. The Nitro 21 XT could be had as a Stadi...

My Attempt at doing something less basic
Painted up a spare Yokomo body over the weekend. Decided to try to replicate the scheme on my XX-4 and X-5. IMG_20240324_220420807.jpg IMG_20240324_210942416.jpg Things I learned: -cutting compound curves is a pain in the ass, especially on curved surfaces -need to get better on consistent cutting d...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
Just a little rant I needed to get off my chest, about the epitome of the luck I have been having lately. I have this little project Volvo I have been playing with lately (I know, I know, but I have plans for it :D ), so this weekend was motor mounts. It has a vibration under acceleration, and it ha...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
Just a little rant I needed to get off my chest, about the epitome of the luck I have been having lately. Sounds a lot like my usual endeavors. I need to change the oil in the truck. Back truck out of garage, but to get to my tools I have to clean off the bench, but before I can clean the bench, I'...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
I can relate! It's one of the reasons why I enjoy sleeping into the afternoon. The less I'm awake during the day, the less I have to put up with. Hey, it works.
