Re: Anyone know how to ship from US to Aus/NZ?

1911Colt wrote: Mon Apr 15, 2024 11:33 am How do you ship to Australia or New Zealand from the US? Do you just staple the package to a wombat or something? Apparently a couple of guys, presumably both named "Bruce", want my Storm 2000.
Don't make me come over there....

The wheels look like they will suit a rallycross car more than a buggy.... which would also fix the concerns of those who dislike the body. Win win for us rally guys!

Bring it on, I say!

Re: The dog thread

Well, it's been a few months since our precious Louie left us, so time for a new four-legged bundle of bark. This is Rudy , a 2 1/2 year old Kelpie. 20240316_165039.jpg We adopted him from a home where he was pretty much locked outside all day, and locked in the laundry all night, with NOTHING in be...

Maybe you should come down instead, for November's Vintage Bash.... no time like the present. If you have to, steal a loaf of bread ;)

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

A good friend of mine picked this up in a cheap garage sale lot recently, amongst a bunch of other cars. He had no use for it, so he tidied it up and sent it to me! 20240507_164726.jpg Sure, it's only a Super Hornet, but it's in pretty nice shape, and the Futaba Attack-SR TX is in almost-new conditi...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

New boots for my el-cheapo bash truck project...... these cost more than the truck originally cost me! 20240509_165504.jpg One more parts order to arrive, paint a replacement body, swap in a servo that can actually turn the wheels, and it'll be done. I'm banking on Christmas.... won't say which year...
