For a true vintage experience, only run it with four bearings. Leave all the bushings in place. That'll make it even slower! Just like the good old days!
Shotgun is coming together in preparation for vintage racing early next month... Shotgun.jpg Tore down the Pro shocks, and noticed this on one of them: 20231021_195802.jpg Yep, that's an e-clip embedded in the seal cartridge. Found an extra e-clip in the shock body itself, too! Plus, the shock shaft...
More work done on the Shotgun.... body fitted, radio gear sorted, and made my own LiPo tray out of a busted Cat XLS chassis plate. Have sorted electronics to use, and tested the receiver and servo. Still got to get back to the shocks, and then put it all together... but it's getting there! 20231029_...
I have to say that RJ's truck looked awesome in the flesh at the Bash.... and his performance was a standout for me, from a pretty awesome weekend of racing, chatting, and talking poop. Was great to finally meet the guy, after we've given each other so much carp over the years on here! Such a brilli...

All came together, for what I consider a good price. 20...

I always have to put oil in, the first thing anyone does when they pick up an RC car is to play with the suspension. On a Losi this means adding oil every few months  I don't put oil in my runner shocks half the time.... why would I put it in my shelfers? :?: Wait.... what shelfers??? ...

Nice piece Rob... look forward to seeing it filled with all your nice cars....
