Of course you can use it. It will out drive most of the basher buggies too. Adjust the ride height and you will have a robust buggy to have fun with. This wasn't supposed to happen! I have collected and restored every Losi buggy, cars and trucks from the JRX2, onward. The cut off point was the XXX series...or was supposed to be! Fronts are direct fit for a CE/Team/Worlds car. Rears fit but require the longer hinge pins which rpm still sells (70590). You may have the correct pins just depends on the arms on your car currently. It was a running change

Still lacking proper tires and the rear shocks are too long but it's mostly complete. Need to print the taillights and then I can revisit the transmission and see if I can make it a little more efficient

Seems a bit early to be wiring, but that is where I am. Just like 1:1 cars, the best way to clean up wiring is to just stuff it under the seats and floormats.
I don't think I did well with the wiring, but it can't be any worse than Lucas!
