Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2020 ** - Winner - Lavigna

Here is a new built « Cadillac » RC10 I have been aiming to finish recently. Still need to work on electronics. Pro-Line Champion rear tires, 7 ribbed fronts and ProLine wheel covers. All credits for the body goes to Ultrahive.

Re: Team Associated Vehicle History

I am still updating the History site. It now lists 426 vehicles from 1970-2020! :D

See http://bit.ly/ateamapps, and click on "Team Associated Vehicle History."

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2020 ** - Winner - Lavigna

This is a project I've been working on for a long while - I bought the body back in 2011, and completed the paint job in 2015, but I've only just mated it to a chassis. As can be seen from this TamiyaClub link ( https://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=125501 ), the paint job is quite invol...

Re: Yet another TRX-1 for Lonestar!

I dig the 80's colors. I always liked the look of the TRX-1 along with the Radiator.

That plastic tape is it like drywall tape?

Re: Yet another TRX-1 for Lonestar!

I've used a 3M product, the clear chassis protective film that is available thru JConcepts, to reinforce body stress points at the front nose. On the exterior, it blends in alright. Seems to stop/manage tearing/cracking of the lexan pretty well. I still want to try that mesh tape method at some poin...

Futaba mc10 FET might be the right looking esc you are after... I don't know how big they are, but do seem to be normal sized. i was thinking the same thing-- & I have one (well, it is atleast Futaba). I'd be happy to donate it, but am not sure if it's condition will meet this build's level of ...

Re: RC10 B4.1 For General Bashing?

The bandit would be stronger but the B4 would handle better albeit quite fragile in comparison. There are things you can do to improve the durability of the B4. Parts are starting to get hard to find for the B4 so I'd stick to the Bandit.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2020 ** - Winner - Lavigna

Ok, this is my restored Tamiya Astute. The Astute was my first real RC car. This is not the same car as I had as a kid, I grabbed this off eBay and restored it with new parts wherever I could. My RC backstory is my 2 best friends had an RC10 and a Jrx-2. We didn't live near attack so we would race o...
