Re: Tecnica’s RC10 — 2020 VONATS BUILD (maybe)
I'd get new towers and not run the truck towers, Standard buggy in rear is fine, and an RPM version up front. That will reverse the shock positions, more upright up front and less upright out back. as it sits the progressive rates are 'off' Jeff (factory works) makes some sweet towers, you can get o...

Re: RC10T Team build from parts bin
Man, this is a really nice build. I can certainly appreciate the time and effort that goes into cleaning and finishing so many individual parts. The end result is well worth it though. I did a similar rebuild to my original RC10T a few years ago. So happy to have it still. What medium did you blast ...

Re: We're getting there (May2020)... CWF (tub) and Shiny RC10
Hé !!!
You can use your hand's fingers to polish those shocks
You don't need tool or gear for that ... (je suis déja loin...)

Re: DS conversion part list or kit?
Parts can be found but they are scarce. You may be better off finding a used example from eBay. Grab the manual from associated's website and give it a read. In no particular order these parts are what is different: Rear arms Rear bones Rear shock tower and short shocks Rear Sway bar Nose plate Shoc...

Re: We're getting there (May2020)... CWF (tub) and Shiny RC10
I think the shocks look perfect as they are -- they complement the body posts. metal appearance.jpg A few minutes with some Mothers or Nevr-Dull metal polish would have made them look like mirrors but I think they look great just as they are. Less is more. It's also cool that you've found a matching...

Re: Rough off road tracks, a relic of the past?
They are pretty much an obscure relic of the past indeed... The cars are also reflecting that, a lot more forward-biased now. This is disappinting for me to hear- today's "off road" seems more like "on road, with jumps" instead :| I remember hearing "offroad is onroad with ...

Re: Recent EBay project original turbo optima package
Well great afternoon building this back up, it’s had an easy life! A real find now it’s cleaned up and it’s going together a treat! Shame to sell it.. oh well that’s how it starts ;) the shocks where still full of the original red oil, however for some reason they did not fit the piston rings so it ...
