Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

On that theme Dadio I just received a new in packet pair of SRM Racing one-way rollers for the Mini Mustang, along with a whole heap of other goodies. Nice Brimod stash, including a pair of Intermediate shocks, some Associated-Reedy wheel discs, a new set of absolutely spotless Proline Yoke rims (yu...

Re: i know it s an LXT classic, but ...

Who knew back when I had a pile of these and was giving them away they would be come so hard to come by. I would pay a machinist for a nice aluminum one. In the meantime when you find one run the factory works front brace. You need to get longer pins, LOSA602 and LOSA5017 are options and probably ot...

Re: Mabuchi MG 25T 'Buggy Special'

Mick came from a slot car tuning background, and I have MG adverts dating back to November '77 advertising RS540 and 05 tuning services. I am not wholly versed on the accepted standard class 540 specifics from '83 but this is certainly a different spec to the other 27T 540 'Modified' motor I have po...

Re: Club 10 diff

Hi Keir, I have disassembled several Bosscat Sport and I think they use the same diff system with the same problem: While the idea of a geometric lock between the tri-lobed diff-washer and the tri-libed washer-carrier is really nice, Schumacher unfortunately used a cheap plastic injection part for t...

Another new guy

I guess an introduction would be a good idea. I haven't had an RC10...yet. I couldn't afford the cars my friends had in the 80's, so I've been building Tamiya kits since 2014. I recognize some of you from Tamiya Club. Some day I would like to have an RC10 runner, but I have no idea when that might h...

Re: i know it s an LXT classic, but ...

I don't have any RC10 or traxxas suspension pins handy. Would be nice to know if any of those 1/8 pins or other cars may have had right length pins we could use as well. There is probably some other one out there that may be easier to source. It just needs to be close enough as you use spacers anywa...

Re: RC10T Team build from parts bin

Since the last update we have made a bit more progress on the back of the truck: back_end4.jpg back_end5.jpg I noted earlier in this thread that I couldn't find any decent white nylon 4-40 flanged nuts in my parts bin, and it seems they are no longer available from AE. However, I was able to source ...

Also check your shock shaft stash. Can run a nut on one end and clip on the other. People will think it’s custom 8)
