Re: First one I ever had... 2019 Turbo Optima re-re build

Looking good :) all cars from that era except the RC10 were way oversprung and way overdamped... this, combined with short a-arms is what drove the appalling handling of that era... and one of the main reasons why the RC10 won absolutely everything for so many years. they were the only ones to have ...

(almost...) new built JRX-Pro SE

Howdy yall long time no speak. Lots of RC as both my kids race with me now, both on- and off-road... we don't race that much, but the amount of prep/maintenance to keep >6 cars running (plus the bashers to goof around in the yard) especially when the yougsters don't understand these things just plai...

Great to see this finished and safely on its shelf ! How did you solve the broken mono shock mount in the end ? haha thanks! Yes, the shelf is where it belongs, really... To fix that broken mount (and hence the chassis altogether), I used something like that: https://static.gorillacdn.ch/media/imag...

Re: Mabuchi MG 25T 'Buggy Special'

All these UK-special goodies are very good. Crazy how many RC stuff came from the Brits, really... and you guys have always been at the forefront of electric RC, why is that btw? Anyways - back to the motor... is this any different to any other Mabuchi (except the sticker, I mean). Yes, it's a seale...

Re: RC10 B4 rebuild/update

this is such a class-defining car... just like the RC10 bitd, this ruled for a whole decade until the centro, which was using the same suspension. Masteful design by Easton.

Re: i know it s an LXT classic, but ...

Who knew back when I had a pile of these and was giving them away they would be come so hard to come by. I would pay a machinist for a nice aluminum one. In the meantime when you find one run the factory works front brace. You need to get longer pins, LOSA602 and LOSA5017 are options and probably o...
