Re: Losi XX Kinwald Trinity build
Lavigna First off, I just love this car... awesome. But I like the matching rear bulkhead and might wait before replacing it. Wheels will tend to mute the carriers "blueness". A body and shocks will tend to mute the bulkhead. And could a blue esc and/or other blue anodized parts bring the ...

Re: Body for wide chassis
I think a JRX Pro body would have plenty of width. I have a very similar chassis, possibly even a little wider at the front. chassis101.png But I can't bring myself to place a Losi body on an Associated build. Here are a couple fitment shots parma.2.JPG I have yet to find a body that I like and will...

Re: Futaba FX10
A little more cleanup, some parts, some paint and stickers.
Stayed with the original body and painted it.
New front body post, front shock tower, dog bones and battery door.
Need to paint the driver and try to find replacement tires, maybe.

Bear Hawk
I got this as a "mystery" auction item purchased by the wife.
Been cleaning, sanding, painting, sanding, painting and trimming decals for a while.
Turning out pretty nice if I do say so.

Re: Subwoofer Repair
Two things about subs...
1. When you first add one you ask, why did I wait so long to get one? This sounds great.
2. When it quits you ask, how long before I can get an other one? This sounds like s..t.
Awesome that you fixed it!

Re: Modern RPM Worlds Shocks?
Synergy A while ago when looking at RC10 shock alternatives I took a few measurements. I saved this chart for future reference. Measurements were for the Associated big bore V2 12mm shocks. Eyelet to eyelet with short lower eyelets, long lower eyelets add about 2 additional mms. shock length.JPG I o...

A customer I once had buys a Kicker sub from me and comes back weeks later saying it “blew up”. OK, so I go take a look at his Bronco and he open...

Re: Sad Panda
Sad Panda has gotten quite a bit happier Complete tear down and thorough cleaning. New old stock body , decals, driver's seat/compartment, shocks and wheels. Panda branded receiver and Futaba servo and 210 ESC. Front tires are a fairly good match to the originals and the rears are Hornet tires. Hard...

Re: Mid-motor B1, B4, B6 V2
Been looking for a body long enough...
Got this one from Sabula tech.
Really wasn't sure if it would fit but it just barely does.
Wing is a Raw Speed B6.1/B6.2 style.
Waiting on decals

Re: Mid-motor B1, B4, B6 V2
Thanks Doug "A lot of RC10 mid conversions that I've seen move the shocks and tower behind the axle and I think this can make it difficult find a body that fits well." Well... sort of The original 6 gear transmission mounting holes kind of dictate where additional B6.2 trans mount holes ca...

Re: What your workstation looks like?
A small and quite old corner desk. Usually buried in parts, screws and whatnot. hobbycenter.JPG I was given this by my parents when I was probably 10 or 12 years old. Probably to study at but it quickly turned into place to build slot cars. There is a small burn mark from a slot car pinion gear that...

Re: Bear Hawk
A little bit of finishing up. Full clean up and wiring reroute. New pair of correct rear tires for the new rear wheels. Still can't find new front tires but these aren't too bad. Rebuilt shocks with new silicone 5mm X 9mm hose. Changed the springs as the springs that were on it were both non-origina...

Re: Bear Hawk
Derek
Remember racin' at Lynn's?
Frogs, hornets, Tamiyas and Kyoshos all road bumps.
Got a simpler RC10 in the works for a quick build.
But who knows, never thought I'd reanimate a Bearhawk, FX10, Wolfhunter and a Panda.

Re: Bear Hawk
Can't forget Ralph Volkman, Danny Schnaare, Brian Chapman, Larry ?? ( stocky w/beard), Andy Wallace and last but not least Sean Cochran. Sure there were many others but... What great times. Always looked forward to race day. And I do have 1 Kyosho piece but not quite enough to build a car around :ro...
