Doug
I did dye the wheels for the Houge before I painted them.
Totally forgot about that until just now
They took dye as well as any other nylon I have done.

Re: Parts Needed for re-re's
Mike I have been using Associated 91721 B6 shock ends, and they come with a ball. The length of the ball is shorter than the original, so I often use a small nylon spacer to make up the difference. On Ebay search "Vintage Associated Rc10 Stealth 2.25 Left Diff Outdrive 6578". You will find...

Re: Mid-motor B1, B4, B6
Doug No need for sorries! You just put another idea in my head. New home for the layback. More on that later. Though I'm sure not an authority, here is my take on the differences. The layback offers a slightly shorter overall transmission length. The layback uses a smaller idler and it looks to be s...

Re: Mid-motor B1, B4, B6
Hi Lonestar Yep, I'm pretty much using what I have in spares or can/could get for a reasonable price. And at least I'm staying kind of AE loyal. I've got some Andys arms but the rears are probably 7-8 out of 10. Also AE rears are still available and I had new AE fronts. Longer B4 arms in the rear wo...

Re: More AE parts being discontinued
I ordered Aug 6th and got the bodies about 2 weeks later. I could not find a way to track. Shipping was Royal Mail International Standard. Very similar to JCracing wheels and their shipping times. I did request combined shipping for two items and was quickly sent an invoice. There were no additional...

Re: Mid-motor B1, B4, B6
The transmission and rear suspension is mounted. Really pleased with how it turned out. No limiters needed in the shocks. Bone engagement looks to be spot on. There is no binding at either full extension or compression. At a ride height of 22mm there is 2 degrees of camber. Camber changes are minima...

Re: Carbon fiber rear tower options for 10T
Austin FactoryWorks has been my go-to for carbon fiber for a while now. A very knowledgeable business member and moderator here on RC10 talk. PM GoMachV for available parts and cost, that's what I do. Or check out his Ebay listings. https://www.rc10talk.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=7863...

Re: Battery fitment for RC10 CE #6011
Hello there whyme I am guessing you are looking at the measurement on NiMh 6 cell packs. The nickel metal hydride (NiMh) 6 cell packs are longer than the older NiCads were. Haven't seen NiCad packs for a while, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I just don"t now where :( Loose subC NiCads ...

Re: It’s starting again! RC10 Build number 4!
Doug You should gain appx. 3mm per side with the B4 front 9580 Caster block 25˚. With modern wheels and tires and long front arms this should put the overall width quite close to the max 250mm width. This would be the same setup I have on several cars. I use the 25˚blocks to keep the 30˚ angle of th...

Probably a hotter motor than a ROAR legal 27 turn stock motor.

Re: Kyosho Le Mans 34
JT That is what I would do. Watch for excessive temps when running. If after 2-3 mins of running fairly hard you can't hold your finger on the motor, run a smaller pinion or larger spur. I would also check all the rotating parts for dirt, grit or any problems. Dirt , grit or binding in the trans or ...
