Doug, the only time I tried adhesion promoter on Lexan was when I dipped some bodies.
Not really sure of effectiveness as my dipping results were kind of mixed.
A couple of pretty nice successes and one or two failures. Pretty steep learning curve on hydrodipping for a novice.

3 of the shock ends that were on the car are pretty torn up and one was missing altogether. I've been trying to replicate the elusive ADj-1 lower shock mount. In my search I couldn't find a steel idler gear. I think Thorp may have offered a steel idler. My guess is because the output gear I bought is a Thorp 5021 Hardened Steel Top Counter Gear / OT-86 Upgrade. The Thorpe is a better gear than the Kyosho in my opinion. Others may well have offered upgrade...

The Duratrax Evader is a kinda, sorta cousin to a Losi XX.
Chassis are very similar but not many parts interchange.
Front bumper, arms and maybe a few other parts will work on either car.
